m.doob: Overall, a good shower chair.
One screw hole was hard to match up, but it wasn't a major problem.
I am disappointed that the seat pad is not non-slip, and I will lay a hand towel across the top.
I'm glad to have it since I occasionally get light headed in the shower.
For additional safety, I check the fasteners before each use to be sure they are fully tightened.
It is quite stable, even with a large
tub mat in place.

LS: Used after multiple falls and injuries. Was pleasantly surprised it fit perfectly in my tub/shower despite curved edges at the bottom of the tub. Easy to clean, lightweight and easy to put together and move in/out of tub as needed. Greatly helped with recovery and independence in showering. Exactly what I needed.
Note: it may be too small for someone with a large frame, but was perfect size for me as I am fairly small framed and short (the legs do adjust for height but may not be suitable if you are very tall).

Carmen W: I have a chronic illness and can get hit by random spells of dizziness. Also, some days I need to preserve what little energy I have by sitting down. I used to sit on a small utility stool, which was difficult to get up from and more challenging to reach the faucet, shampoo, soap, etc. This stool makes showering feel so much safer. I weigh 225 lbs, and this stool feels very sturdy and comfortable. I wish I had stopped "toughing it out" and bought myself one of these years ago!

Ashley: This is a great option for people with limited mobility due to injury! I fractured my foot and am not able to put any pressure on it. I roughed it for a couple weeks by showering infrequently, and just balancing on my good leg, but I wanted to be able to relax in the shower so I gave in and bought this chair. It was wonderful and I should’ve bought it sooner! It was very easy and quick to assemble. Lightweight enough that I was able to set it up myself. I have a standing shower and it fits with plenty of room. It wobbled once, but I was able to keep my balance with my good leg. That makes me think this may not be the best option for someone who may not be able to catch themselves in case of a little slip. Overall it was a great purchase!

Nerdy HermitNerdy Hermit: I got this chair after looking at many others on Amazon. This chair had the least negative reviews and was a reasonable price. I personally use this chair in my smaller shower/ tub, and it really has helped me out. I suffer from severe exhaustion and it is hard sometimes to stand up long enough to take a shower. I hate baths so I needed a way to safely sit. This chair was the perfect answer. It’s small enough to fit in my smaller tub, but wide enough for me to sit on comfortably. I’m 125 lbs and the seat is a nice enough size for me, but I don’t see this chair being wide enough for a larger person to sit on and feel safely supported. I like the thin layer of padding on the seat. It’s nice not having to sit on bare plastic. This chair doesn’t have a shower wand holder, which would have been very nice, however, I am able to slot my shower wand into one of the hand holds on either side of the chair, so it works out. I do check the screws before I sit down on it, and need to occasionally tighten two of them. Other than that, the chair feel very sturdy and doesn’t wobble when I shift around while sitting on it.
