SoDakDogM0M: I have these set to turn on and off with smart plugs as my living room doesn’t have any lights. They work really well, don’t take a lot of space and provide good light. The shade is slim and modern but also has a traditional look/style so it can match many styles.
I just wish the light setting didn’t change each time it turns off/back on. Easy enough to rotate through the settings by turning off and back on - not a deal breaker. It was annoying the first day, but now I just go with it. I have three lamps and have them on the same rotation, so as long as they are on the same light setting I don’t care.

Debra: The instructions can definitely be better for the lamp shade but the reviews on here show how to do it as well as a video in the actual product photos. It was easy when I knew which way to unroll it. One downside is the cord is a little too long that you thread throughout the pipes so I had to connect them all, unscrew the second pipe, pull the cord through the second pipe, screw the lightbulb into the top one, then move the cord around a bit in the 2nd pipe then screw it back together so it would fit. That was a pain but after you figure out how to do it, the actual lamp works great. Love that you can change the brightness and warm/cool tones of the light, as well as a remote. Be warned though only one of the variations comes with a remote, other ones come with the foot button. I made to order the one with a remote, and it's magnetic so I haven't lost it yet lol

Suzy: We have purchased 2 of these for our house, and 2 for our son's new apartment, because he loved them. My husband loves them bc they're a little more of a modern look than I usually go for. I love them because there are so many lighting options from LED bright white to a soft warm glow, and then I can brighten or lower each of those options, even further. Hubby loves the brighter LED look, and I love the warmer glow. The remote is great, and not only turns off and on, but controls all of the brightness levels. It also sticks magnetically to the pole of the light, so we always know where it is when we walk into the room! If you're considering, this lamp is a winner!

That One GuyThat One Guy: I originally bought one of these for my newborns bedroom. It has a sort of night light function on the remote (red button) that turns the light on the lowest setting. That has worked great for waking up in the middle of the night or when he needs to be changed at night.

The light itself is easy to assemble, looks good, and puts out an average amount of light. It is definitely best for a situation of complimenting other lights or as an accent, maybe an armchair light as well. I liked the light so much I purchased a second for my house and a third to use in my office at work. The only thing I found with multiple lights is the remote is the same for all of them, so if I turn on the lamp in my sons bedroom; the one in the living room downstairs under that room turns on as well. Not a huge deal, but something to consider depending where you use them.

Overall, a good product for the price.
