book lover: I love this floor lamp for its appeal and for soft lighting in a room that really doesn’t need a lot of light. I did not like it in the room that I need it to be brightly lit but it is a wonderful light for a bedroom that does not need to be bright. The bright arc is so fun.

JD: The lamp looks elegant. However, based on the actual price of this product compare to the stability and the brightness, it is overpriced.
The metal itself is very thin as it shakes when my floor fan is on so I had to tape it in my table to stabilize. The cord with the push button on the floor to turn on and off, is very cheap looking and old fashioned. This should be in $70 price range for its made and quality.
