Brimo: Selected this to replace one that we have had for years. My wife has arthritis in her hands and found the switches much easier to operate that out old one. The reading lamp is perfect as well.

spw: Feeling so grateful for others reviews as I was deciding to try this lamp, I write this for the benefit of others who want to satisfy specific needs with their lighting.

I needed bright lighting in two specific areas , both of which required ample lighting where accurate, functional ceiling lights are not available in my rental space. (1) kitchen area in prepping food, cutting veggies, etc., etc.; & (2) near my sewing table area.

I think the second light on the lamp, at 60W, is too bright for reading. In my opinion, it is not a lamp for a cozy relaxing spot. It is a light adequately bright for accomplishing things, it is bright enough for any purpose. The second light is quite bright & is flexible to bend as needed.

I am very happy with the first one (kitchen) & so I ordered another for sewing area.

Easy to assemble, very sturdy, exactly what I was looking for. It’s not fancy & yes, globes are plastic but I highly recommend this lamp if you need a bright lamp.

Paul G.: For its price and what it is, this is a great lamp. We have it beside a couch in the TV room. The 3-way torchiere on low is great of TV. The gooseneck side lamp is great for reading. The plastic globes were a concern but look just fine. This would be a 5 star review except that you can see the top of the bulb above the torchiere globe; just kind of tacky. I would bet that this was designed pre-LED when 3-way bulbs weren't any larger than regular bulbs.

Amazon Customer: The lamp is very cheap looking: plastic domes, cheap looking black plastic knobs, and the metal poles are spray painted rather than just left as metal. Would work well if not too worried about the esthetic value of it. Seems fairly rugged other than the cheap looking switches.

MsMousse: Works and looks great in my living room. I use the goose-neck light for reading, sewing etc. With an LED bulb it's perfect. I also use my Echo to turn the main light on and off, dim and change light quality with the Echo compatible bulb. Although the shades are plastic and not glass, this lamp still performs very well after a couple of years use.

jnzs: Love this! Was skeptical when I ordered it and thought that it might look a bit cheap but boy was I wrong. This looks great! Two-dimming modes per light are a plus. And it’s very sturdy. Only reason this loses a point is because I wish the white bowls were made of opaque glass or ceramic rather than plastic.
