Shopn FoolShopn Fool: Finally after 3 tries the perfect reading light for me! I was able to get a 39.5 inch on the 90 degree height; thus the light is below my eyes while reading, not above my eyes blinding me or someone else when I angle the light outward to avoid this. Love the choice of light colors and light brightness, up or down. Also, I love that there is a light cover. There is an easy to find on & off switch due to the soft blue light on the switch. Controls are at the perfect height by my chair. Love that the previous settings remain when turning the light on and off. Love the shorter 8 inch light area verses that long 18 inch shown in comparison photo above; thus a more minimal look and out of the way - and the long is so un-necessary for reading. This floor lamp looks so much better in my living room! Finally, I love its’s weighted bottom. I like that is heavy yet not too heavy, I can easily one arm it back and forth as needed. Yes, this is the one!!!
