Lisa Tetzlaff: Love this light. Very little to assemble. Good quality, sturdy feel. The base is heavy, no way this is going to tip over. Easily move into position. Light is bright. It is everything I was looking for in a lamp with purpose.

Vic: The base is heavy & the light fixture is very sturdy which, allows it to be steady & doesn’t move once put in position. The stand is not tippy. These are two qualities I was looking for.

I purchased this so I could position the light so it does not cast a shadow over my work. I also required the magnifying portion so I could use it for fine detail for painting & drawing. I liked the idea of the larger size of the magnifying glass surface. Unfortunately the lens makes it very difficult to use both eyes. It creates a distortion & double imaging. It works fine with only one eye…but I find it a little frustrating hence the reason for only 4 stars instead of 5.

Jami R Garrett: I have looked hard and long for a product like this the only problem is when it stretches out it wants to tip over. You just have to be careful but it's beautiful I can do meet a point I do other crafts it's detailed in what you can see you see all the flaws and be able to fix whatever you did.

Marnie: Brightech make a super product - mainly all metal. It is durable but not too heavy. The base, with wheels, rolls easily. The arms “popped” out ready to go. The assembly was done in minutes. It came with all the parts plus wrench. Criticism? The assembly instruction and diagram are on half a sheet of paper. I guessed what a “spring” washer was.

crash: If I were doing a big or detailed project, the project tracer might not be the best but for projects like mine where I just needed an outline it's perfect. It's very light. Made out of cheap plastic so it could break easy. I do love that I can change the light with any regular bulb.

Lizzybe: I ordered this light to replace an older fluorescent magnifying light I was using.
Pros
3 levels of light
Light color better for seeing true color on beads
Round weighted base keeps lamp very stable
Easy to put together
Light stays in the position you put it in
Magnifying lens comes with attached cover
Round base stops tripping hazard.
Cons
Hard to roll base around because of the style of wheels(I would change out for hard rubber wheels if possible)
Stand is held in place by 1 bolt and washers so it will bend over if you try to position the light using it.
You have to use your foot on the base to roll the light around
I am very happy with my purchase and find it makes working with tiny beads much easier. I wish the wheels were a different type or that there was an easier way to move the light around. I like the round base because the traditional legged bases are a tripping hazard for low vision people.
I would purchase another one if I needed it

Sunshine: Best investment I have done in a long time and I'm going to give you why for the $130 I'd pay it in a heartbeat I'm a person who turns around I do painting I do cross stitch needlepoint quilting reading I do it all and you know I started the needle point and I made a 9 looked on this I put it together and everything and I looked I said I can't believe the mistakes I've done on it I'm 61 years old never thought my eyes would start weakening on me while they are and with this magnifying glass and the light on it it has a dimmer and it goes up and down and the extended pole goes up to five feet I'm not kid Neal I'm 5-3 know I'm 5-2 sorry and shrinking and I'm not kidding the thing is bigger than me only thing that I have to come up with if somebody can tell me I have Windows all over my place and skylights I know who can help me figure out how to cover the magnifying glass because of the sun doesn't smack right on it I have Sun all the way around inside my place if anybody has any ideas please drop a line I'm willing to take any suggestions but I give a 5-star for bright Tech and I will say this to their good quality I have outside solar lights with them I've had for 2 years so far...
