The BREEZEWELL 2-in-1 Evaporative Air Cooler is the perfect solution for your home or office. This 43" tower fan is not only designed for cooling, but also for humidification, making it the ideal choice for dry air relief. It features a 1 gallon water tank, 3 wind speeds, 4 modes, 70° oscillation, 15H timer and a remote control for easy use. It has been rated as one of the best Evaporative Coolers based on design, maneuverability, overall performance and value for money. twitterhead: The media could not be loaded. Things I like about this air cooler:
size - it's tall & has a great oscillating area so it covers a great portion of the room
easy - super easy to use & the remote control is awesome!
water capacity - love the gallon+ water tank as well as the couple of re-usable ice-blocks
design - love the tower design - it's sleek & cool looking (pun intended) and the handle at the top back of the unit makes it easy to move around (I use it in the office during the day but it can quickly move to the bedroom at night) - it takes up a small area of floor space so it's perfect for corners or small spaces
sound - it's fairly quiet at Fan1 - obviously more noisy at Fan3 - but the noise is worth the cooling
Things I dislike:
Water tank - it's flush w/ the back of the unit so it's hard to pour water into it - it needs a spout or curve or something (for now I'm using a funnel)
water gauge - it's in the front but the area where you add water is in the back - so I keep having to stop pouring water in to move around to the front to see where the water level is - there should be a clear section at the back as well to gauge the...

AnaAna: I found myself wondering where everyone was living when I was looking at reviews, so I thought I'd mention that I live in the San Joaquin Valley in California. This area has an average relative humidity of about 40% in the summer, according to Google.
We've had the Beezewell Evaporative cooler for a couple of days so far and my son and I are big fans (small pun, for those who like them >>). My son and I converted my one car garage into his "hang out" space. We purchased this cooler when I realized that I couldn't use a portable AC in the garage without a window. And when it started getting into the high 70's and 80's, it was just getting WAY too warm in the garage. Without going into too much detail, we managed to semi-insulate the garage and have been using the house AC to semi-cool the garage room with a moderate to low-ish amount of success. So far, the fan on low has been more than enough cooling power. I'm very impressed. The oscillating feature is wonderful because it circulates stale air and helps to pull in cooler air from inside the house. We haven't tried the cooling feature yet, but I'm eager to try it out once it becomes necessary. I'll update this post...

"bennryan": I like the concept of tower, in the way the air flows, it's different than typical fans with circular propeller...it seems to be better, cooler. The ice packs you can add is a great benefit, and works! It has a very large tank for water that you can add, and doesn't leak, etc. I started using it before adding the bottom support, which only complicated things...so, rest it on the box it came in and add that first, so you can avoid the ridiculous way I ended up installing...laying on the floor, with the cooler on top of the the box, with unit on, and balanced so the screw holes were hanging off the side of the box, just enough so it wouldn't tipped, which it started to at one point. This was dumb, and typical of how I do most things. So, don't do that. If my girlfriend had been there, I might have avoided this hassle. First, she would ask, "what are you doing?!"..."okay, but why aren't you installing the base first?" Cut to: 20mins later, unit is now on, resting on the couch so it didn't tip over...it's full of ice and cold water; however, it's not positioned the way we needed it, and needed to be moved. It's not the best to try and move it with all the water, as it's hard on the...
