I would rate this item and the Aquateak company 10 stars if that were possible. I rated it five stars when the bench arrived more than three years ago. It is beautiful, simple in design, easy to assemble , sturdy, made of first class materials. One of the slats in the seat was defective, evidently, and rotted out in the shower, even though I dried the bench thoroughly after each use , and the rest of the bench showed no water damage at all. I called the company, hoping to be able to obtain a replacement slat. They said that was not possible but instead, they sent me a new bench. That is without a doubt the most extraordinary customer service response I have ever gotten from any vendor. Thank you, Aquateak.

A very nice teak bench at an affordable price. I did not buy it to be used inside the shower stall, but I know teak wood is the way to go for water. The hardware (bolts and the threaded inserts in the wood) are all stainless and the leveling pads are made also made of stainless steel bolts with the heads covered by a sturdy synthetic material to avoid damaging the floor. Included is an Allen wrench, the only tool will needed to put together the four pre assembled pieces. I have mine in the bathroom to sit and get dressed after taking a shower. Very happy with it, Thank you!
