Maulik JaniMaulik Jani: Very good experience - it is all rounder.
Only draw back is it producing so much of heat but it is not causing anything. I believe all other products may also produces heat as it is connected with type c cable and does required power to operate.

I have used it with Apple Macbook Air M1 to connect one hdmi led screen most of the time.
Also I have used hdd and no problem with read/write speed.

Also, one need to understand that it will drain your battery little faster because it requires the power to operate.

And I feel lucky that it won’t affect any downgrade in terms of performance or battery.

I truly would purchase this for anyone who has a USB-C device & I never had one complaint from day 1 & it still as beautiful as ever, never overheats & never has a problem with multiple cables plugged in working at once!!!!! Kevin: i used this usb hub for my 2020 macbook pro 13in M1. im sure many people need one because of only two usbc's. i wish there was another usb c port on the hub. the Hdmi port is what i mainly got the Hub for. i connected it to my LG 32UD59-B 32-Inch 4K monitor. the connection was good. the sd card slot also worked as it should. i like purchasing electronics from this brand because of its quality and years of experience. it does get a bit loud but was never an issue for me.
overall, i would recommend this to anyone who wants a sumple usbc adapter hub. i admit that there are better options for that price range. it was just that i got this hub about 2 years ago, so that was a good buy at the time. 5/5

Johan Karlsson: it feels good in every term but i think its a little bit pricy. I mean its not expensive but you can get other brands hubs for less, and i cant see that they will do less good that its worth the extra pennys to buy one from anker just because its anker. BUT if you travel a lot like me it feels really nice to have this hub from anker because it screams quality from the shell.

knet: I bought it because, at least at the time, it was one of few that were compatible with MacBook Air M1 when it comes to HDMI video.

It works perfectly and has a solid quality feeling using it.

This is why I'll continue to buy Anker products...

Anker contacted me on the back of this review and offered to send me a replacement. After some back and forth, they accepted that it's not a problem with the individual device but pointed out to me the fact that USB3 causes interference. This *is* mentioned in the product information inside the box (not something you'll see until you buy it, obviously) but the product information on Amazon simply states "Some 2.4 GHz wireless devices (such as wireless keyboards and mice) and USB 3.0 devices may not be supported" which suggests to me that some devices can't be used whilst *connected* to this hub and *not* that existing devices will stop working. This is also countered by the statement in the product info on Amazon that it's "Designed with signal shielding to reduce interference and promote stable performance with your wireless devices". The USB3 interference issue boils down to an individual devices' shielding...if it's shielded well enough, it won't interfere with wireless devices in the 2.4GHz range.
