J. Davis: A wave of relief hit me after reading and participating in the first few chapters of this book. It explained perfectly my own inner turmoil and battles as i struggled with managing my anger in a life where things rarely go perfectly, and sometimes just go badly. It explains how to manage without betraying myself in the process. So good, thank you to the author.

Pen: The best point in this book was noting in the first chapter how the brains and hormones of men and women are different such that men want dominance in a social hierarchy while women want social harmony. Unfortunately, this crucial insight was not developed any further.
The worst features of the book is an undercurrent of seeing angry people as victims. This starts in the preface when the author writes that they have a "malignant anger" towards themselves that prevents them from being as happy and successful as they want to be. He sees angry men as having believed societal myths about anger and followed "useless advice". The author asserts that "anger is painful" and is a secondary feeling coming after fear, hopelessness, hurt, disappointment or guilt, for example. He thereby fails to acknowledge is that when men have a problem with anger, it is because there is a subtle pleasure in it for them - an enjoyment to blame and deride and control others while elevating themselves in their perceived social hierarchy. To understand this, George Simon's "In Sheep's Clothing" and Lundy Bancroft's "Why Does He Do That?" are good places to start.

Wayne Snowden: This book gives really good examples of how anger as worked to make problems and how to cure problems. After the first chapter, as someone who became perpetually angry at himself , others and inanimate objects. You see that there are ways and means of approaching anger in different ways, that make you more accessible to your self and others. Very good material used to enhance the value of the course.

Frederic F.Frederic F.: Overall a good book to better understand the root causes.
Book is about 130 pages of content but there's 59 blank pages for exercises. Way too much. And I do my exercises on a word document or piece of paper, not in a book (it's personal stuff after all).
Although it made me understand more about where it comes from, I felt like they are not enough solutions presented, tips and tricks on how to manage it. Really liked the test in the book, very useful.
For what's actually in the book, I found it very generic and often about outside factors (antagonists, events). I liked that it was written for men but also did not find anything very particular apart some old-fashion stereotypes that does not apply nowdays.
Overall, feels like I'm missing the "Anger Management For Men - Part II - How to fix it". Still, I see value in this book for understanding where it comes from. Now I need a book to actually help me fix it.

LifePathin4D: I am highly impressed with this book. It's an "easy to read" book that makes sense to the reader and it's practical advice for anyone no matter what your lifestyle or background. If the Reader is willing to read this book and pay attention to the advice they can only benefit from the advice and it comes with worksheet style activities to help get to the root cause of the problem.
This book would make an excellent reference tool for Coaches and anyone who works in the mental health profession but it's equally great for a person who is trying to work through personal anger issues on their own.
This book is geared towards men but a woman could also benefit to follow the advice given and if you are in a relationship (romantic, friendship, family, etc..) where both people have anger issues and you can only get one book, this one would make an excellent choice. It brings up points that you probably never even thought of and it really gives you the benefit of a quality therapist in the comfort & convenience of your own home.
I got it today and read it through in one sitting for the purpose of this review but I will most definitely be going back through it again...
