I have a 3 year old Champion toilet where the flush valve started leaking due to the hat that holds the gasket separating. It had good flush but I decided to replace it with the Cadet flush valve because you can replace the flapper if it fails without removing the entire tank from the toilet like you do with the Champion. It doesn't make the cool sound it made before, but it flushes well and will hopefully be more reliable.

After 10 years, the valve started to leak. replaced the float, but still leaking so replaced the whole thing for a very reasonable price!

Cuidado, dice que es de 3 pulgadas pero es de 3 1/8, no funciona en cualquier inodoro, al ser de importación es muy engorroso la devolución, mejor hize una adaptación para poderlo utilizar

I have an American Standard Cadet 3 commode. The past month or so it has been slowly losing water between flushes. The water level will drop about an inch then it will refill. Since there was no water on the floor I determined that it must be the flush valve seal. I checked Home Depot and Lowes and could not find the right parts.
On Amazon I found the appropriate flush valve assembly. Since replacing the flush valve requires taking the tank off, I also had to purchase the tank/bowl coupling kit.

Total cost for both parts together was around $20.
Both parts were shipped quickly. The flush valve kit did not have instructions (I like instructions). The coupling kit had some instructions. I checked on YouTube and found several videos but none that were pertinent.
