Amazon Customer: They seem to start out good, you set everything up fire it up then it works once or twice for you and your like dam this is pretty sweeeettttt.

Then, the rear camera stops showing up, your trying to pair it but this isnt going well because now the menu button wont work unless you hit the video first then menu. You can try to increase the pairing time to 50s it shows it does but it doesn't change but back up camera seems to work.

Ordered a second one swapped the back cameras out tried pair no go

I swapped the led consols and then both the cameras that came with it auto paired and were found noice. Not even two hours later trying to leave for the campsite fighting with it because the rear camera stopped working like the last one and guess what so did the menu button and everything else started failing exactly the same.

I think these things get hot in the truck and the boards just melt or something. Garbage I have tried two sets now and they both cost me hours of dicking around when I should already be at the campground only to end up giving up and leaving without them on. In the end no working camaras and many hours of weekends wasted on these.

Once you learn the features, it's pretty straight forward and will be used when backing up the trailer either during the day or night using nightvision. David: We are using these cameras on a 5 ton crane truck. We set up one of the cameras for backing up to trailers and the other is for keeping an eye on the load that sits on the deck of the truck.
The response time is very quick with no lag in time. I will update as time goes on with more experience with the cameras.

Marco Palacios: This is a very nice for the money backup camera system with a 2nd cam for your RV. It was very easy to install. The monitor was in in less than 5 minutes if you don't care too much about the running of the cord but you could easily hide it so it cant be seen in 30 minutes or less. The outside of the truck required that I purchase a 12V cigarette lighter adapter to apply power to the camera. This was my own personal preference because I've got a dedicated 12V outlet that is permanent to my tailgate and I wanted an all the time on camera when I'm driving. You could easily have wired it with the supplied crimp terminals on an existing 12V line. The RV install was even easier as I piggybacked 12V from the rearmost center running light. I installed the camera above the light at the apex where I knew there was structural wood. I made a small hole on the underside of the light housing just enough for the wires to pass through and applied silicone afterward. The wire from the camera to the running light is maybe a foot long including the drip loop. ***IMPORTANT*** if you do it this way you need to know the polarity of your running light. Gary CGary C: I purchased this to use as a rear view mirror for my truck camper. When backing into a camp site, I will also use it as a back up camera, but the main use is for rear visibility while driving. The installation was very easy as I already had installed a Yakry camera and monitor to use for the same purpose while pulling my 30 foot trailer. The older system has a 7 inch monitor and this one has a 5 inch monitor. The 5 inch monitor has it's advantages and disadvantages. Since I'm using this as a rear view mirror, I prefer to have the monitor mounted to the mirror. The 7 inch monitor is beautiful to view, but it blocks my vision a little more than I like. The 5 inch monitor doesn't block my vision at all. but it is a little harder to see what is behind me. One problem with back up cameras is that they have a very wide field of view. I think this one is 150 degrees. The problem with that is that vehicles behind you look like they are a lot further away than they really are, but you get used to that. The old and new monitors have a different power connector, but the new camera came with the necessary adapter so I didn't need to do any wiring in my truck.
