Fred P: I bought this to slice bread. The one I purchased before was another brand and broke with the first use so I sent it back. That one had more power and a greater size adjustment. This one works okay, but I would prefer it to have more power and a greater size range for slicing. It also does not have a child safety switch, just a regular on and off switch. It has worked okay so far. The suction feet slip sometimes so you have to hold it down. Having two people makes it easier, but not absolutely necessary. I do like that the tray and sliding rod are removeable, that makes it much easier to clean. Nice that it comes with two blades, but they are the same.

robert: It comes with 2 serrated blades. I would suggest 1 serrated and one not for best results.

Lyons: I bought this slicer mainly to slice homemade bread. I’ve also used it to slice meat to use for sandwiches. It does a pretty good job. The way the blade is positioned doesn’t allow for a complete cut and the bread is left with a less than tidy edge on one side. For the most part, it does what it’s supposed to.

MarkMark: The media could not be loaded. This unit cut hard salami with no issues and was actually easy to clean. The blade comes off and the slide flips up so you can actually access all of the machine for cleaning. there is a little slot that could possibly catch scraps but a sponge corner cleaned it out easily.
The suction cups don’t do the best job of holding the unit but the blade spins fairly slow so you shouldn’t be slamming the food through it. Run it slow and smooth and it doesn’t move around even with the weak suction. The thickness gauge is a little wonky and moves around but it’s easy to push it back to the stop and hold it in place while you set the depth of the cut.
Overall, it’s a great buy if you’re looking for a cheap slicer. No, it’s not a deli/ professional level machine. Yes, there are a few things that could be improved. But it’s a $100 machine and it does the job really well.
