This ZeroWater 8 Cup Round Water Filter Pitcher is the perfect addition to your home. With its clear design, it is not only aesthetically pleasing but also highly effective in purifying your water. It is one of the best Water Purifiers on the market, offering easy maintenance, reliable customer support, and a sturdy construction that can hold up to 8 cups of water. Enjoy clean, great-tasting water with this top-of-the-line water filter pitcher.GFR: I started using the filter 3/21/23, it lasted till 11/14/23 on the initial filter unit. At that point the TDS was 007. My tap water TDS before filtration was between 046 and 063. I followed the directions and never had any problems, no leaks, no bad taste. The total water volume that i filtered was 101 gals.

Certified InSomnia: This water filter is great for high levels of hardness and improves water taste significantly. It is quick and easy to set up and filters out unwanted residue. However, the filler cap is too small, the filter replacements may be needed frequently, and the pour spout is prone to spills. The pitcher design is also unattractive to some people and the capacity may not be sufficient for larger households.

eluena: I just learned that two top brand water filters do NOT take out lead from drinking water. We live in an older home and we’re worried about its old pipes. We bought this water filter pitcher and our water now tastes like clean, fresh water. Faucet water now tastes awful compared to this great water filtered pitcher!

LUCY: this is one of the better water filter jugs by Zero water, as you don't have to remove the lid to refill the jug just flip open the small door excellent idea.

Suzanne P.: I’m quite happy with this purchase and I’m definitely drinking more water. It is doing an excellent job removing minerals which I’ve noticed in my glass kettle. Typically my apartment’s water would cloud the kettle with mineral build up within 2-3 uses. It’s been 2 weeks now and the kettle is still clear of mineral deposits. I think this water will work great in my humidifier too; another unit that typically gets a lot of mineral deposits. I’m overall very happy with this purchase! I’ve since done a bit more research and this item didn’t rate as well as others for removing chlorine etc but it’s definitely better than water straight from my tap!

Johnny Lunchbucket: I live in my RV in a large park which is on well water. I routinely buy Kona and Blue Jamaica Peaberry coffees, among others. I brew up single cups at a time from freshly roasted whole beans in a burr grinder and use a French press.
In the past I've tried different bottled waters and noticed big changes in the coffee taste. This got me wondering about how to come up with a consistent high quality water for the coffee.
I was debating about installing a 6 stage reverse osmosis system but didn't really want to do the plumbing work and fit it under the sink. During research for that I heard about the ZeroWater products. Because the cost/risk is so low, I decided to try it out. Wow. Just wow.
First, you get a good TDS meter with the pitcher. Municipal water came in at 198 PPM. I then tested the well water at the park and it came in at 52 PPM (!!). This is extraordinary and further research revealed that the park also uses extensive UV to destroy bacteria in the well water. Without the included TDS meter I never would have know just how good the park water already is.
Nevertheless, the ZeroWater pitcher dropped it from 52 to 0 - as advertised. It also...

Grant Pratt: The water filter works as it should and the water is so pleasant to drink, just like rainwater. Makes great coffee.

StrandedMoose: Quality: First of all I'd like to say that contrary to some opinions, I think ZeroWater tastes great. It is pretty much equivalent to any store bought purified/distilled water in terms of flavor. I drink mine chilled in the fridge so it's quite refreshing and tasty.
However there are some really big issues with the design of the round pitcher. Firstly, the hatch to pour in the water is ridiculously tiny. It is easy to miss or spill when refilling, and the chamber is also fairly small.
Functionality: This is the biggest flaw in my opinion - water consistently spills out of the hatch/chamber when even a little bit full. Any movements to the pitcher while it is filtering result in water splashing around in the chamber and spilling out the back. This seems like an obvious design flaw that could have easily been identified and fixed with some prototype testing.
Brita lake filters and other pitchers avoid this by having the pour-zone in the middle of the pitcher instead of the edge. This could have been easily done if the TDS meter was mounted on the side or top of the pitcher, or within the handle or the pitcher itself. In my opinion, PUR, Brita, and other pitchers...

Amanda: This jug is WAY better than the original basic blue one I bought 10 years ago. Jug is sturdy, top water reservoir is easy to fill, not leaking, and holds a decent amount. Came with filter, I don't remember if the description mentioned that. Only downsides are the two little flaps on top and that it needs a vent. One covers the pour spout and makes it difficult to pour into water bottles. I pulled the flap off, but the bottom reservoir needs a vent as the pour stream glugs and then slows down as it sucks in air up the pour spout making the stream unpredictable and difficult to manage when pouring into narrow openings like water bottles. The fill up flap is small and has a gap at the back so it is hard to see level as you are filling and overflow runs down the handle (and all over my counter). I instead just pull the entire top of the reservoir off to fill, but that is not as easy as there is no handle or grip. Overall, the few minor issues I've found work-arounds for but could ne remedied easily for future models. I am mostly happy with my new jug and look forward to using it for many years. My previous jug lasted 8 years and that was longer than I expected, so I estimate 10 to 14...

Alan: Zero water is one of the few filters that removes really nasty stuff like PCAS and other forever chemicals. It’s a 5 stage filter vs 3 for regular brands of water filters. It comes with a meter to measure dissolved solids, and is zero when the filter is new. Taste is good, much better than tap water. The pitcher fills easily. I use a measuring cup with spout for easy filling.
