maneesha: Took 15 mins to install, didn't do a lab test to check before/ after water quality. But it helped remove the oder and chlorine taste right away, hope it lasts the advertised time frame. Very interested if someone did a lab test for results on quality.

Jeff D.Jeff D.: Update: new filter arrived ahead of schedule and works great now. Has acceptable water flow. Water tastes like nothing, which is fantastic!
Easy install and clear instructions. No leaks and on city water just a trickle came out. Called customer support, they determined its defective and its going to take 3-4 business days to send a replacement. I’ll update my review when I receive my replacement.

GT DudeGT Dude: This filter was easy to install and operate. It came with the two hoses to connect to the water supply and the faucet there was no plumbing changes that had to be made, anyone can install it.

My water from the City is very hard and has a high chlorine smell and does not taste good.

After installing this filter the chlorine smell and taste has diminished significantly but it is still hard and the taste is about 70% better. That is the reason for the 4 stars. The price is not too bad as well, I was able to get a 10% on the list price so I am happy with that.

Jon: It turns out that I live in an area with a high percentage of larger particulates in the water and this filter slowed down well before the projected life span. (It is designed for filtering smaller particles). Customer support was incredible and after consulting with their technical team, they recommended a pre-filter and send out the pieces I needed, including a replacement filter for the original purchase. I couldn't be happier with how easy the installation was and how great the support team was.

Annette Rochon: We've always used on the tap style water filtration systems, but that always limited the style of tap I could use. This makes it so much more convenient and the water taste the same or maybe even better at least in my opinion.

Guilty: Taste like nothing. Actually caught us off guard bc from switching from bottle water. Where like I guess this is what water supposed to be like without the added minerals.

Easy to install product. Was done in about 7 minutes after reading instructions and figuring out the layout. Ignore the video with the insert clips you don’t need them it’s an outdated post these new ones clip when inserted.

ugafan71: I know this is for an under the sink application. However, we needed a filter for our icemaker. With a couple of compression brass fittings it worked like a charm. We had plenty of wall space to accommodate. We live real close to the water treatment facility so our water tasted like chlorine, and now with this filter we absolutely love the way our ice taste.

Divemaster: I bought two of these brands filters, one for the fridge to avoid paying for GE branded filters and one to connect to our faucet in the kitchen. Now all the cold water that comes from our kitchen faucet is clean and tasty! It doesnt restrict the water flow by maybe 15%, but its worth it. For the fridge, this filter connects to the line in the back of the fridge, you then install a plug into the fridge's filter to bypass this. The filtration capacity of this model is vastly higher so i wont have to replace it for years, vs the built in fridge filter which is every 6 months. Oh and my fridge would slow the water flow on the fridge so it FORCES you to change it. Not anymore :)
