Luke P.: I've been wanting to get a Damascus steel knife for a while now and this was on sale which set it apart from my options. Even before the sale, I was leaning toward it because of the elegant, modern design. I was surprised at the quality of the packaging, and the knife itself. The handle is pretty heavy but I like it because it's easier to handle. The blade is very solid and dense, and it doesn't feel cheap at all. As to whether this is real Damascus or just a design they managed to etch onto the blade, it's a satisfactory cut and very sharp indeed. dropped an onion onto it and it cut clean through.

One of the knives had a slight bend it to the blade and without question and they said they would send me another one. Outstanding customer service as well.

Kristin Avila: The knife set is beautiful and very very sharp. Great additional purchase if your budget allows: a magnetic wood board to organize them. Bought as an anniversary gift and although they've gotten plenty of use, haven't needed to sharpen them yet. Versatile! Recommend cautiously hand washing them to keep them in top shape.

Kelly: After 10 years with a set of knives purchased from Walmart, we decided it was time for an upgrade. The knives arrived well packaged with the shears in a separate box. The first time using them he difference was night and day. I’ve never used a knife hat cut so effortlessly. They feel comfortable in hand and I find myself fighting with the wife over who gets to slice he vegetables. We have been using them for about a week and the weight of the knives is almost enough to do the work for you. Only complaint I have has nothing to do with the knives themselves, but that I was unaware that they were made in China. Japanese Damascus was misleading in the description. Overall I am pleased with my purchase.
