Gregory A. Corson: I've got other Write brand bacons and liked all of them. This one has a good hickory smoke and maple syrup flavor and aroma that really hangs around after cooking. The slices are nice and thick. This particularly batch was more fatty than usual but based on other Wright bacon I've had, this is probably just a normal variation in the meat.
I've noticed that, like other maple flavored things, this has more sugar so you have to be careful not to overcook and burn it. Best way is still to bake it in a sheet pan in the oven but if you are just making a few strips a frying pan is fine. But keep the temperature low! If it's popping and splattering you have it too hot! Also when the bacon is fully cooked you can fry up some "dirty eggs" in the remaining fat. The little burnt bits of bacon and the maple flavor will give a nice boost to your eggs.
Overall great with my morning eggs!

LNC: I enjoyed this bacon thoroughly! Some packs were better than others since I am very bacon-picky. I like the packs that are more fatty than meaty; I realize that's the opposite of most people but I just don't want a whole lot of meat on my bacon. You never know which kind you will get and I was sad when I would see more meat lmaoooo.
The flavor is so good and I don't usually like maple flavored foods and I also usually hate the smell, but the bacon is too delicious to let the smell keep me away. I'll admit your house will probably be smelling like maple for days and that's not exactly a positive but I'll live with it.
