Jinxie: I bought these for my husband & son to use w/ their instant scrambled eggs for extra flavoring, while they were hiking the AT. They reported back that they liked it and definitely want to have more on future hike/camping trips.
The size of the packets are good for splitting between 2 adults
I only gave it 4 stars, only because I have high blood pressure and they're pretty high in sodium. something to consider for anyone who has high blood pressure.

Lyla W.: I got tired of my local grocery store always being out of jars of Hormel bacon bits. They always have plenty of the store brand, lol. I was a little hesitant to order--these are in resealable bags. I thought they might be less fresh tasting or whatever. The flavor and texture is far superior to the product in the jars tho! It's so easy to order from Amazon. I'm not going to bother shopping for them at my store. Perhaps they're a little more expensive, but for me the convenience far outweighs any price difference. Absolutely delicious.
