The quality is great with a great Bacon taste. After all it Is Real Bacon, not Bacon flavored Bits.
There are 6, 6oz resealable packages in the box which equals 1.5 pounds total weight.
I really like the resealable small packages as you aren't opening a big bag that might go stale before you can use it all. These are great to use on salads, in omelets, in graveys or on pizza.

Gary Drury: The only issue I have with the Hormel Real Bacon Bits, 6 Ounce Pouch is -- they are not larger pouches.
The bacon bits taste fresh and very very little fat. I throw them in scrabble eggs, omelets, mac and cheese and on my fresh salads, etc. This is a product to buy again and again. I feel I actually eat less of bacon by buying the bits but receive the same savory, salty crunch that is hugely satisfying.
Hormel Real Bacon Bits are a fantastic way to reduce salt intake. They give my dishes additional flavor and I don't need to add any additional table salt.
Hormel Real Bacon Bits, 6 Ounce Pouch (Pack of 6) came well packaged and arrived in timely manner.
This is a five star product but I reduced by one star for the small package size of six ounces. Of course this is double the standard of most bacon bits of 2.75 to 3 ounce at several stores. I was just about to five a five star when I discovered 20 ounce bags. As many of you know, I extremely rarely give a fifth star because there is always room for improvement. The improvement here is MORE BACON BITS please.
NOTE: I don't refridigate mine once open. I use my food saver and pouch for airtight...

I've used them in my cauliflower/broccoli salad too as well as baked beans. I think they're the great for taste and easibility.
