Wireless Indoor/Outdoor Weather Station Thermometer & Hygrometer by Tohssik

Daomtl: Bought in 2020 and after a few months the unit displayed the outdoor temperature intermittently. Now it has completely stopped displaying it. We tried resetting the units, replacing the batteries and changing the channels, but no success. For the amount of money we paid we expected a much greater longevity.

Amber Rizer: Our little weather station died and after 2 months without it I finally purchased this one and am so glad that I did! I love that it can be battery powered or USB powered. When you use it with only batteries, the color is not as bright. I'm assuming this is to save battery life. Instructions say to clap and it will cause the screen to brighten for 8 seconds. I tried this a few times, but could only get it to brighten when I tapped it. But being honest...I have a newborn and he was sleeping...so I probably didn't clap that hard!! I ended up just plugging ours in with USB and it stays bright all the time. You can also adjust the brightness between 2 or 3 settings.
It's very easy to setup, but I only set the date and time. I'm not using any alarms yet. The only issue I ran into was that I had it set to 12 hour time and somehow it changed to 24 hour time. Nothing in the instructions talked about how to change this. It talks about the fact that you can set it either way, but no instructions on how to change it. Turns out it's the Up or Down button on the back. But it needs to be pushed when the time is already set and not in edit mode. So it can actually happen accidentally if you...

Wayne SWayne S: The unit arrived on time, safely packaged, and in fine shape. After installing the batteries in both the sensor and the display unit, I briefly looked at the instructions, and then easily set up the channel selector, the date, and the time.
The setup process was very logically designed, the instructions were clearly printed in American English, and they were very well written. Since I wanted to be able to see it easily at any time, I then connected the USB adapter cord.
Once it had been setup for awhile, I compared the outside readings from the sensor to what the Weather Channel said for our area, and the readings were exactly the same! This is quite wonderful, considering that I had gone through several products from other companies that were not even close to being accurate.
I had no place on the porch that was made of wood, so I simply put a screw into a cardboard box that sets next to the door and hung the sensor there.
Again, I am extremely pleased with this purchase and would highly recommend the product to anyone who would like to have an easy to install, highly accurate, and reasonably priced weather station for themselves.

TrudaLisa: This is the fourth weather station I own, and my plan is to eventually put one in each room. After using it, I can honestly say that this is a great device.

The product has been carefully designed and packaged. I think it's high quality and fair price. The setup is very simple, it takes about 5 minutes for the external sensor to reach its temperature. When it dial to a very hot temperature, the device will accurately display the "rising trend"of that temperature. Regarding accuracy, the digital thermometer can be registered within one-tenth of the older model I own. Determine more accurately whether to choose shorts or hoodies when you are out. I installed this thermometer station with a sensor outside the bedroom window and I have been loving this feature so far. The display is very bright, and all functions operate as advertised. I highly recommend.

Soarwitheagles: After doing lots of reading of reviews and researching some of the top ten websites on outdoor thermometers, I purchased this Tohsssik Weather Station in December of 2019. The front display is outstanding, the colors are beautiful and super easy to read too. For the first 3 months, the display worked flawlessly!

I was incredibly happy with this Tohsssik Weather Station.

Then, about two months ago, the indoor unit began to intermittently not display the outdoor temperatures.

I replaced the batteries several times, but we still experienced the intermittent problem with no outdoor temperature display.

Finally, about one week ago, the unit has completely stopped displaying the outdoor temperatures.

I tried resetting the units, replacing the batteries and changing the channels, but no success.

For the amount of money we paid for this unit we expected a much greater longevity.

I just emailed their customer support.

I will update my review after seeing how Tohsssik's customer support handles this failure.

John Inc: I really like this weather station, especially the colorful, well-lit display. It gives accurate information, allowing you, with a glance towards the sky, to forecast the weather. It does have a couple of design flaws that prevented me from giving it 5 stars. First, it's made to either sit like a box on a table or hung on the wall BUT it's best viewed directly (not at an angle) so sitting it on a table doesn't really work, and the power cord is so short that you can't hang it on the wall without an extension USB cable. So buy one of those too. Second, the power cord plugs into the back and prevents the unit from sitting flush against the wall - in fact, it sits crooked on the wall unless you put an extra tack into the wall to prop it up some. A longer cord and an embedded plug would make this much better. Still, it's well priced, looks very nice and works good for its intended purpose - giving you indoor & outdoor temperature, humidity and barometric pressure reading.
