BernieBernie: Admittedly, I primarily bought the weather station in order to get a better idea of how much rainfall was actually around my house and Amazon happened to have a great deal on it. The other information is still useful, however, and the readings appear consistent with that of other sources. The wireless communication between the station and the base worked flawlessly and I had no issues with putting the base in our kitchen while the station is off on one end of the backyard. My only gripe about the install was that a longer rod wasn't provided in order to give the unit some height. I haven't decided on a final spot for it yet but being lazy I'll probably leave it in its current position (see pics). So far I'm very happy with thee purchase and the couple of rainfalls we've had so far have provided what appear to be very accurate values.

Malcolm S. Field: Very easy to set up. Clear accurate instructions. I waited a while after setting this unit up before writing a review because I wanted to see how well it worked and I can honestly state that I have not been disappointed. It is just what I wanted and I find myself eyeing the display often during the day. If I have to give it a negative it might be that when I look out the window and see the anemometer spinning "rapidly" but the display isn't reflecting the increase in windspeed it is a frustrating. This delay in the readout is really just a result of the fact that the wireless signal isn't sent continuously so I just have to wait a few seconds sometimes for the results to catch up.

Amazon Customer: This weather station worked well for us for a few months, but we did run into a display issue, where some parts of the display were not lighting up correctly. We contacted customer support and they were outstanding, even following up with me when I took a while to get back to them. They handled the situation with kindness and speed and resolved it by replacing my unit with a new one (actually a better model it turns out with more features, without my asking for that). The new display is working great and everything was handled beautifully. Highly recommend this company. Any company's products could have issues, but its what they do to address them that really matters.

King: I purchased an expensive one of these when we lived in Florida. I was afraid this one would not be as good as it is a lot less expensive. Be not afraid! This is a great weather station and in many ways better than the expensive one I bought in Florida. It worked out of the box. Was easy to set up and install. Programming the control panel is typical and works well. Just don't get in a hurry. Follow the programming steps one step at a time or you will get flustered. I tend to get in a hurry on things like this and jump ahead in my excitement to get it done. That does not work here. One step at a time following the instructions works very well.
I am impressed with the range from transmitter to control panel. Much better than my expensive one I had earlier.

BeansssssBeansssss: I'm not going to lie, I'm starting to become jaded with all this China GARBAGE we're getting online. I'm not saying that because I dislike China, I'm saying that because I dislike this growing pile of hundreds of dollars worth of Amazon returns I have of stuff THAT DOESN'T WORK!

When I plugged this all in, I couldn't get it to work to save my life. The controller would not read the sensor. Tried after work several nights in a row to get it working. The light on the sensor was just flashing constantly, nothing in the manual about it, I assumed it was a pairing issue.

Yesterday, I started to box it up. I figured what the hell, I'm never going to drop it off since the closest ups that accepts Amazon returns is over an hour away so I began mentally preparing to reverse engineer this and build my own sensor. So I plugged everything back in, AND IT WORKED! I DIDN'T EVEN DO ANYTHING!!!

It worked all day. Until we came in for the night and I went to check it and NOTHING!!!! A big old fat NOTHING BURGER!!! WTH!!!???

To the manual I went. This time however, I payed attention. Didn't find the cause in the manual, but I did notice that this manual was clearly...

Carlos: Compre esta estación meteorológica porque tenía una de marca Bresser que me dió problemas de conexión (yo creo que por tener unas antenas cerca) y queria otra con otra frecuencia.
Aspectos positivos: la conexión funciona perfectamente, los datos parecen fiables, se le ve más resistente que la Bresser, la pantalla es más bonita con colores e iluminación y puede conectarse a la corriente para no gastar pilas.
Aspectos negativos: en comparación le faltan muchas funcionalidades, tiene registro de maximos y mínimos pero solo de 24h y no te especifica a que hora y dia se ha producido, en cambio la Bresser tenia registros continuos de todo el año, mucho mas útil. Además no tiene registro para ver los datos de las últimas 24h, es decir, solo te da los datos del momento.
Otra cosa que me resulta curiosa, en el manual (en inglés y alemán, sin estar en español, en contra de la legislación europea que obliga a vender los productos con la información en el idioma del pais de venta), hacen especial enfasis en verificar todos loa instrumentos (tª, humedad, viento, presión, etc..) cosa que está bien pero no se pueden ajustar manualmente ninguno de los valores lo...
