Anna: Update: I originally wrote a negative review and the seller reached out to me offering to pay for my return shipping. They also offered a partial refund if I was willing to keep the treadmill. I decided to keep it since it still works, it's just noisy, and returning it would have been difficult. The seller provides great customer service and solutions for issues with the treadmill and because of that, I can recommend this product. Be sure to hold onto the original packaging for a few weeks in case you might want to return this.

Original review: I absolutely recommend this type of treadmill - but not this one. I've been using this treadmill every day for 3 weeks, walking 1-2 hours at 2.5mph and I weigh 130 lbs. The treadmill worked perfectly at first, but this week it's started to make intermittent squeaky noises around the motor area. It also makes a noise that sounds like when our computers connected to dial-up internet in the 90s.... ridiculous. The treadmill still works for walking but the noises are so annoying. I tried lubricating the treadmill as well as adjusting the belt tension to see if it would help the noises, but it didn't. I may try to open...

AZ_Dweller: I realized very early on that the search for an under the desk tread was going to be difficult and pricey - but this one took my by surprise! It was one of the better priced options, but has been nothing but amazing and easy to use. I’m able to move it by myself due to the front wheels and store easily in a closet. The physical user interface is intuitive. No instruction manual needed to figure this one out!

Jennifer Roberson: This was very easy to set up; I lifted the handle, tightened two knobs, and it was ready to go. Exactly what I wanted. However, this is a very noisy treadmill. The deck creaks loudly, and the motor whines. The whine goes higher or lower depending on your walking speed. I'm reminded of a kid playing with cars going "VROOM!" at various pitches.

I suspect this will not last very long. It's made mostly of plastic, and the creaking in the deck is worrisome. I wouldn't dare run on this. Now, I bought this knowing it wouldn't be as nice as the higher-priced treadmills, so I won't be surprised if it really does quit on me in a few weeks.

Also, the Safety Key is pretty ridiculous. It doesn't fasten to the human. So if you're headed off the back end of the machine, you can't reach the Safety Key switch, which is on the handrail, to turn it off. However, it does indeed stop the treadmill instantly if you press it! You just can't press it if you're falling off the treadmill.

Pros:

Zero assembly required.

Fits perfectly under my desk.

Easy to operate.

Sturdy.

Compact.

Cons:

The wheels are nice but rolling it on carpet is a little tough. That said, I still move it every day after I’ve hit my 10K steps with minimal struggle.

Definitely wear shoes! There’s a spot where if you’re not careful, your toes could get jammed between the end of the treadmill and the handle (circled in red).

Overall, I am so pleased with this purchase and would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to get a few extra steps in their day without breaking the bank. My only regret is that I didn’t buy this a year ago.
