UREVO 2-in-1 Under Desk Treadmill: Walk & Exercise While You Work!

Virtuoso FanVirtuoso Fan: I work from my home office most of the time and I'm also an avid runner and health & fitness freak. Sometimes, the virtual meetings would extend for well over an hour and that made me think that I need a standup desk as I really don't like to sit for more than 45 minutes straight. Then, I thought I may as well add an under desk treadmill to walk while I'm working for recovery purposes and also add in some easy miles for warmups and cooldowns for my vigorous runs outdoors.

This Urevo 2-in-1 under desk treadmill has turned out to be the perfect solution for my needs. I considered around half-dozen treadmills and this one seemed to have the best combination of features and versatility I wanted. It's compact and easy to move out of the way when I do want to sit down. It's quiet enough for work while walking. It provides enough speed for easy/slow runs and even for some rigorous workouts. It's also priced reasonably for a good value-for-price quotient.

As for the cons, it's a bit noisy when you increase the speed for running to 5mph and up. I'd crank up the music on the speakers for running or use ANC earbuds. It doesn't have any programming for advanced workouts or...

Luke Vanderpool: My office finally approved for us to bring in a walking pad to the office to utlize with our standing desks. I did a fair bit of research and finally landed on the Urevo 2.5 HP Treadmill. I have been using it for several weeks now and I am quite pleased with my purchase. I spend 4 days/week walking for up to 4 hours a day and I am more productive and have more energy while working.

PROs:
1. It is a quiet machine, not silent :) There is a slight whooshing sound with each step, but it is nothing too distracting and does not detract from working. I have been on several work calls while using and the sound is not noticiable at all. And if it is too loud, just walk slower!
2. It doesn't automatically turn off when you step off. This may be a con for some, but if I have to step off to go to the printer, I like that I don't disrupt the office with a bunch of beeps.
3. I like that it came with the track oil. The instructions were helpful in learning how to apply it.
4. Wide and long track pad. Some follks in my office purchased narrower ones and I have heard them express that they wished they had a bigger area to walk on.

Bought this treadmill as a surprise gift for my husband's birthday. It arrived 4 days ahead and I hid it in a closet until his birthday. I was super excited to give it to him and he was thrilled when he received it. He unpacked everything and maneuvered it to his office. Plugged it in, flipped the switch underneath to turn it on, the display lit up, he pressed start from the remote, everything did what it was supposed to do, but the treadmill wouldn't activate. Ok....start over. Still nothing. Grabbed the instruction manual and made sure the magnetic safety latch was closed (or as the manual says, "make sure it's on," which I believe is misleading.) Still...NOTHING. We repeated this process at least 12x, unplugging it, moving the cord to a new outlet, raising the handle bar, locking it, putting it down. Was he too heavy? No. Still no movement.
I tried. Was I too heavy? NO (I'm 150lbs). No progress. On 2 occasions while standing on it, an "E02" error flashed briefly, but then went away. We thought, aha! We didn't add lubricant! So we grabbed the bottle, emptied 10mL into the little whole, then unplugged everything, switched it back...
