Upgraded OKMEE Solar Fountain with 4 Interchangeable Nozzles for a Variety of Water Patterns

LInda G: I tried to reach out to the seller via the AMAZON return and the seller denies selling this product. Fortunately it started working again on its own. However, I had to take it down a week while I was recovering from surgery and when I put it back out it won't work. Now I'm stuck with a non working product and no one to reach out to for the warranty. So sad....birds loved it and I loved the adjustable feature as I have a shallow bird bath and can control the height of the spray.

Angela Jones: I had a solar fountain that finally had to be replaced. I should have gotten the same one but went with this one because the description sounded enticing.
It does have various spray features but I have found them hard to change the pieces and difficult to turn for different spray features. It doesn’t have an automatic off feature for when the water is too low so it’s easy to burn the motor. My other one was solar and would continue to work in the early evening or when the birdbath was shaded. This one will not and often times just “spits” water. There are no suction cup attached to the bottom, instead it came with fishing line and a suction cup and I couldn’t figure out their thought process l! To me, this one is just “meh “. Wouldn’t but it again.
UPDATE: the entire solar panel has turned white and the fountain no longer works…. Bummer!

ML MooreML Moore: Until today, I would have described this product as "simple and bulletproof" based on the first unit I bought (August 2020). That unit is still going strong today. I don't abuse it or baby it, and it was frozen solid in the bird bath during its first winter and it returned to working on its own as soon as the ice thawed. I was impressed, though I no longer leave it out during hard freezes.
I bought a second unit in Sept 2021. The newer model has an extra feature with a lever underneath so you can reduce the amount of water flow, useful if placing in a small bird bath and using the fountain feature, since you can empty your bird bath if not careful. That newer unit actually seemed a bit stronger, but it may have been just that it was newer. Today, that newer unit stopped suddenly. It is not dirty and the pump is not blocked; the pump unit does not even try (you can feel the vibration of a working pump even if not in the water at the time). Dead as a doornail. So, not sure how to rate reliability based on these two units. I like them, and do recommend them, but your results may vary.
Since the malfunctioning unit is less than six months old, I sent a message to the Seller to...

William BlairWilliam Blair: This is a pretty basic unit, but engineered for simplicity in setup and maintenance. It's not hard to change the nozzle (or adjust one of the two provided when installed). Cleaning the filter is rather easy, too; they include two extra new ones, but if you clean it every so often you can just wash any gunk out in the flow in a kitchen sink. The more direct sunlight it gets the stronger the flow (Duh!), but even in partial or even complete shade from a tree, if it's not too cloudy or overcast, it still gets enough sunlight to spray up about 9-11 inches. I figured this would attract more birds to the birdbath than it has; it actually seems to deter their visits, but that is likely because that one birdbath is too small and it takes up much of the available room. The spray is sufficiently high or strong that even on only a mildly windy day it effectively empties the birdbath (down to the point where the fountain no longer pumps water). But it works as advertised. My recommendation is to make sure you put it in something that has plenty of water, so you don't have to pay attention to it even daily and be sure to take it out of the water (simply place it somewhere upside down) so that...

mancanfly: This fountain was a breeze to install and works right out of the box the minute sunlight touches it. I was surprised just how strong the water jet is from a device so small. It even works on overcast days, though the flow will be more subdued. The interchangeable fountain head is a great option! It isn't required for use, but it allows you to customize the spray in 4 different patterns. The device seems well made. It has the look and feel of quality. With so much time at home, I've become something of a bird watcher and I read that the sound of running water would attract more birds. I use this in a wide, shallow bowl of water on my apartment balcony. The water is only 2.5 to 3 inches deep but the fountain floats well. The suction cup and fishing line keep it centered in the bowl. The fountain has enticed many lovely birds to bathe and drink on the balcony! I highly recommend this fountain to anyone who loves the relaxing sound of bubbling water, human and avian alike.
