jojo_girl: This is my second in a little over 2 years. It does what it says. I wish it had a battery to store up some energy to keep it running, but I knew it didn't and still bought it again. It's easy to clean and runs like a champ ... when the sun is shining. 😉

Steve: Like most all "solar fountain" kits, this doesn't have the tubing necessary to complete the project since I don't have the correct tubing yet-couldn't find the size listed on the listing. Another item sent back.

Lisa W.: The media could not be loaded.  I was excited to use this product. It worked right away, in fact while setting it up. The solar panel was large enough and effective, but it's just that. It's smooth on the opposite side, except for the bump out for the converter part, a rectangular shape that's also smooth. However, there's no clip, suction cup, stand, or Anything on it, that can be used to place the solar panel towards sunlight. It's not even able to balance on the edge of a basin unless it's in the water. I've tried to rig another suction cup, Alien Tape, and I even used oddball hangers for it to hang from. Nothing worked.
I was so initially happy with it, that I marked the box for keeping during winter months. Then it didn't work...you couldn't simply reposition the panel. Now I have to refigure, where and how to use this. An attachment for the panel, for hanging options, should be on it or enclosed. That would have been nicer. Now the fountain sputters most of the time on sunny days, unless the sun's directly overhead.

June G.June G.: The media could not be loaded.  These work with sunlight. They dont store the energy so; no sun, no flowing water.

I drilled out a few of the holes in the provided discs to make the flow somewhere between the low bubble of water with no disc, and the 2.5 foot straight up spray of the unaltered discs.
Also, I have 2 of these fountains, bought here from the same vendor, and one has the connection about 6 inches from the pump and the other has it 6 inches from the solar panel. Obviously the one close to the pump (as seen in my video) is stupid. I paid 15 for one and 12 for the other.
They definitely attract birds to the water.
I will be connecting a 1/4 drip line from my drip irrigation system (like I would for a plant) to the bird baths so that they fill every day when my garden gets water. Im in SoCal though so I will still have to add water in the summer.

Bamboo Biker: Used the solar pump for small garden fountain. Unit works perfectly.
