lpm: I thought the characters were well thought out and likeable, even with flaws. The three main police officers grow in their confidence and abilities throughout the series. The main character is smart and has a backstory that helps the reader see him as real.
The plots are interesting and I appreciated that I wasn’t able to predict the ending.

Mary Barnhart: I thought the characters were well developed and very "real". The story line kept me interested. I liked that every thread throughout the books was accounted for. Nothing left me wondering what happened. I recommend these books to anyone who likes a good clean read.

pastry queen: Gentle detective reading and a little too safe for me. Interesting take on the police in jersey as apposed to the USA. Not sure it's a series I will follow but for those who enjoy a more gentle side to detective then this is the series for you

Saadia: I enjoyed this series as the Inspector works with his team in a new post. The police officers develop professional skills over time. Delightful!

Sabaah ZJR: This is a great enjoyable set of mysteries. I have never read this author before but it’s clear she puts a lot of effort into showing the little details of the crime which we don’t see. Plus the references to all sorts of tea blends is terrific too.
