Mary M M Kerr: A great who done it with twists and turns but what makes so good is the interaction of the characters. I have now read all 13 books loved them all.

Jaycee: Enjoyed each one, just had to progress to the next.
Mainly to learn more about each character and how their lives continued.
Hope another book emerges, as Charlie West needs to find her other half before Munro disappears from her life.
Why she dismissed the attractive‘ginger beard’ we never discovered: will the inept DI stoke some fire, could she succeed in mentoring with her fiery personality?
Or would he fulfil the role of ‘house-husband as she continues to rise in rank?
An intriguing thought.!?

Lynne: Another great book by Peter. Love the banter and humour. The story moves quickly sometimes too quickly I want it to go on.

Killieboy: I just finished reading Ruse, it's the 13th book in the series and I have read all of them. All the mysteries are set in the Southwest of Scotland, Ayrshire to be exact. I was born in Irvine, Ayrshire 72 years ago and grew up in Kilmarnock. Thank you, Pete, for your great writing. As I read each book it was like being there, back in my hood.

Victoria Ceretto: I just completed the 13 books of this enjoyable series featuring DI Munro and West. I fell in love with the characters whose flaws and perfections made them perfectly believable. The author is able to turn a phrase with the best of them...descriptions, dialogue, metaphors combine to make this a compelling read. I found many of the plots to be a bit too convoluted, especially when Brassett forced two disparate crimes to merge into one. That being said, I am sorry to say goodbye to these characters and hope that there will be more of them to follow.
