Kaizoku!: I wanted to introduce the kids to Greek mythology, but there are quite a few subjects there you might not want to introduce your little ones to... So those will have to wait a bit for now.
As I was searching Amazon I found this book and was pleasantly surprised! It's a smallish book but filled with stories from various cultures so the kids can experience stories from around the world!
As a mythology buff, I was pleasantly surprised to read stories that I had no idea even existed!
The stories are written for elementary readers and they typically end with a nice wrap-up or lesson.
Very enjoyable for fun, light, bedtime reading!

Tiffani Grawe: Wasn't really what I was wanting, but they are little myths in a story form. I like that they include different cultured mythologies just wish they would have been a bit more detailed and more educational. Good for younger kids but will have to be read with an older child or an adult because the words are harder for younger children.

Aaron: I really loved how myths were picked from many cultures instead of just focusing in one area. The stories are short, which leads me to my only complaint. The book doesn't really go into much detail with each myth, and some end abruptly. But other than that, it's a good read.

Mars M.: I've bought a few mythology books aimed at kids that aren't translated well or are hard for a kid to follow.
This books is excellent, the stories are the perfect length for bed time and really hold my sons attention. The art is just enough to spark some imagination and help explain things and there's a really good variety of stories.
If your kids show any interest in mythology id highly recomend this one and would also make for good early reading material aswell.

Noelle B: This book has mythology stories from around the world, with gorgeous illustrations. I learned a few new myths myself, so I think this is the perfect book for parents to read to their kids.
