Jessica: Another great case for detective crosswhite. I enjoyed getting to learn more about the supporting characters. Nolasco's character becomes even more unlikable.

The Cowboy is killing dancers in Seattle. Tracy has the case
She ties it to a previous case and the roller coaster starts. Lots of action, switches and surprises. Will the Cowboy get away with murder? I enjoyed the second book in the series I am curious to see if the third follows the innocent man imprisoned by sloppy police work and freed through Tracy's investigation. IMO that will be too much.

Uncle Robert does it AGAIN! So many things I loved about this book! I really love that we get to see Tracy and Dan have a successful long distance relationship. They make a powerful duo in this book—love them!
Poor Tracy just can’t catch a break—everyone is obsessed with her! I mean how can you not be?! She’s brave, bold, and in the business of catching killers and freeing innocent people who’ve been wrongly convicted! She’s a bad ass!
The end of the book literally had me on the edge of my seat and I couldn’t put it down! OMG OMG OMG! Uncle Robert, you are a genius!

Wow! This was even better than the first in the series. Tracy and Kins are searching for a serial killer named The Cowboy, who has been hog-tying exotic dancers and killing them. This was quite the page-turner, and edge-of-your-seat reading toward the end. There are several possible suspects and many twists and turns. I didn't guess the killer, which makes me enjoy the story even more.
I'm really loving this series. The writing is good, the mysteries captivating and there's a great cast of characters. They make a nice work family and are starting to feel like my own family when I get back to the series. Can't wait to move on to the next one!

Her Second Breath by Robert Dugoni is an absolute masterpiece that left me breathless and craving for more. As a fan of the Tracy Crosswhite series, this second installment exceeded all my expectations and solidified Dugoni as one of my favorite thriller authors.
From the very first page, I was completely engrossed in the story. Dugoni's writing is so immersive and compelling that I felt like I was right there alongside Detective Tracy Crosswhite, unraveling the complex mystery. The vivid descriptions painted a vivid picture in my mind, making the scenes come alive with palpable tension and suspense.
What truly sets this book apart is the depth and authenticity of the characters. Tracy Crosswhite is a force to be reckoned with, and her unwavering determination and sharp intellect kept me rooting for her throughout the entire journey. The supporting characters are equally well-crafted, each with their own unique personalities and motivations that added layers of complexity to the narrative.
The plot twists in "Her Second Breath" are nothing short of genius. Just when I thought I had it all figured out, Dugoni skillfully threw unexpected...

Harish: This book really is leaps and far bound from the first book, not that I didn't enjoy the first book but this one I enjoyed more and it may be because of the characters even Nolasco. The last few chapters after the shooting were nicely written though it felt long it gave us an insight into cowboy and why he did what he did. Amazing and loving the series very much!!!!

Jean Williams: In read the books out of sequence. Apologies to Robert Dugoni. The Cowboy Story has got be one of your best books ever. Detective Tracy Crosswhite and her A team have a serial killer to catch. With subtle misdirection from somebody in the Force, they find he press gets to know more details than they should. Her Final Breath, yet Another brilliant book. Highly recommended.

Laura: As for the previous book I found the investigation thrilling, but mostly I found the characters interactions really involving, something you want to continue reading, luckily I have a lot of them!
