KopAndOreKopAndOre: I mostly like this item. Works very well. You need to be aware - it takes few minutes after you install it to start functioning properly - it needs to get charged for some time - otherwise you will think it's faulty and first few minutes after installation might be enough for one to believe it's broken and have it removed before it actually goes in servise. So be patient - it works great after 5 minutes after you install it. My only dislike is lack of usable settings in between 15 seconds and 5 minutes. I wish I had 1 minute and 3 minutes settings - but no luck - next one is a whole 5 minutes after quick 15 seconds. Vacancy and occipancy modes work as intended. I have no clue if learning mode works or it's ther only on paper - never was able to feel it's action - so I would say another useless "feature".
Overall - I am happy - it works great for what I needed it for.

bud e. :-): We installed this for a handicap person that has a hard time reaching the bathroom light. Prior to installation we left the light on most of the time. It is super easy to install with the only challenge being if you are not familiar with working on electrical you are going to have to figure which side of the switch being the load and which being live feed. The motion sensor needs power to operate which it gets from the live side of the circuit being switched. You can "usually" depend on the power side being the one connected to the side of the switch that is in the off position. A cheap Volt Ohm Meter solves this issue completely.

The time after "seeing" motion for the light can be set so that someone does not have to wave their arms around to keep the light on.

DerickM: You cannot 'tap' the off button to turn off the attached device, and expect it to turn on automatically.

I use 1 or 3 in my mechanical/storage/downstairs refrigerator room. I can choose to have it auto turn off after 15 seconds, or 5 minutes. It will not (due to hysteresis) adjust to anything in between. Since this is a long narrow room, 15 seconds is too short and it will turn off while I'm at the far end. Five minutes is a bit long, and I'd like to hit the off button as I leave. But, if I do that it won't turn on again when I later re-enter the room.

2 of 3 is in my pantry. Here 15 seconds is fine. I cannot leave the sensor area until I leave the room entirely. Then it turns off 15 seconds later. Works very well in this application.

3 of 3 is in a bathroom with shower and shower curtain. I set it for 5 minutes. If I'm there moving about, it's good, but won't turn off soon after I leave. I'd like to tap the off button, but then it won't turn on the next time I enter. 15 seconds isn't good because it is likely to turn off while I go to the bathroom or even shave at the mirror. And 5 minutes isn't ideal because while I'm showering, it goes off and I'm left in...

Val: Worked great for the first 6 months and then developed a mind of its own. Would turn on and off repeatedly when it sensed movement, or not turn on at all. Even pressing the switch didn’t always work.

rainyday: Easy install, works great.
We installed in the mud room, laundry for hands free entry to wash hands when entering the house.
It also works great if your hands are full with laundry or groceries.

Dave D.: Everything works ok but the timer controls are a bit over sensitive, other than that it's perfect. There is no manual on/off switch though and the timer is a bit strange as well as there seems to be a gap of time not available to be set.Anywhere from 15 seconds and below is ok as well as 5 minutes and above but anywhere between 15 seconds and 5 minutes is not available.

Happy Customer: This motion sensor switch works with LED lights with no flicker and a decent sensor range. Certainly much better than a competitor's brand I tried previously. I just need to extend the "on" time which I can do easily--just haven't yet. The only thing I would like to be able to do is turn the light on manually and have it stay on until I turn it off. I know I can do this in Vacancy Mode but would like to be able to do in Auto mode.

The WB: As part of my home automation project, I purchased a number of WiFi controlled switches to operate lights while I am away. I was planning to put one of these WiFi switches in one closet, but the cost versus the benefit of doing so was lacking. I also had a programmable one in mind, but this switch was a better alternative for this specific application.

My house was built in 2014. It has a neutral wire in the box thanks to a fuse box full of AFCI (Arc fault) circuit breakers. I wanted to avoid another connection break and add another wire to the neutral bundle already in the box if possible. This neutral wire free Passive Infrared (PIR) switch was my solution.

What I like:
* No neutral wire required, but a ground wire is required
* Line/Load connections are interchangeable -- eliminate guesswork as to which black wire (Hot) is which
* Same size as the bulky builder installed rocker switch I replaced
* The switch is mounted on the adjoining wall next to the door
