Elliot Medina: Installed it between two garage doors, and the rails for the doors do not affect the sensor as I expected they would. It turned out to work out better than I expected and when I ran into a wiring problem caused by the previous owner, the customer service tech-support technicians were able to easily get me through it With a quick call back when we were accidentally disconnected. Absolutely awesome product and even better support behind it. Definitely recommend.

Daniel T Pun Kay: I just installed the motion sensor switch and it seems to be a great product BUT it did not work at first. The instructions don't make it clear that the black LINE wire (hot wire from the electrical panel) has to be connected to the LOWER black wire on the switch and the black LOAD (going to the light) has to be connected to the TOP black wire on the switch. It will NOT work the other way around. The instructions make it seem that if you just connect any black coming out of your box to any black on the switch it will work. Hope that helps.

Amazon Customer: Although the instruction said MS-OPS2 is a single hole motion sensor switch, I successfully used two MS-OPS2HW switches to control a stair light in a 3 WAY lighting circuit.

I removed the original 3-Way switches, and connect the MS-OPS2 switches with the following manner:
Black to Black of 14/3 cable as constant power, White to white as neutral, Black to Red of 14/3 cable as switched power to lights.

It works perfect for my stair well lights as well as hallway lights. This involves a little bit of conversion on the wiring, but it should be easy for electricians or experienced handymen. Before buy this model, I also checked Lutron's MS-OPS5M, but its manual said that only 1 switch can be used in a 3 Way switching circuit. I don't like that, so I designed my own circuit to have two single pole sensor switchesand works fine.

Videowiz: It detects at quite a distance 30 ft + and almost full 180 sensing, so, it may detect from way far from where you are at in wide open room with no object in between your movements and the switch. I slipped a very thin small transparent shield on it edge to fool it and have it activate more local with the trick, that is until I hang a decoration of some sort near it in the future
