FHendersonFHenderson: Well finally had time to install some of these yesterday. The instructions were clear and all the parts are in the box to install a single gang switch. Since I also had some duel gang switches I had to go pickup a couple plates for that. But they work great for my needs.

Scott T.: Purchased 2, placed them in the washrooms of my new place. they work great as to turning on the lights.
small issues with them. the sensitivity of motion sensor. It changes when walking by in another room with the the reflection of the mirror. Adjusted it so it would stop. Worked fine but without modifying it, it is back to where I prior adjusted it.
Variable adjustment of the timer is not as accurate as preferred. it would time for about 3 minutes to about one minute with a mm of movement on the setting control. next time you would need to move it substantially more to make a equally timer adjustment.
Over all the motion sensors work as they should the control setting adjustments needs a more accurate calibration in setting the control.

- Wide range of motion detection
- Not so loud toggling sound
- Comes with the plate (which is a flat rectangular with bolts hidden).

Cons:
- Ensure the hot & load are not mixed up. Usually all the instruction manuals start with what to do with "Line (Hot)" followed by "Load". But this product's instruction shows the Load first which, by a mistake, connected the "Red" to "Hot (my box had two black wires)" and "Black" to "Load". In this configuration, the light comes up (on/off works) but the motion sensing does not work.
- The cover piece of the control switch is hard to detach. Need to remove the cover plate first & inner plastic cover too in order to adjust the brightness, light, etc. Broke the plastic hook while trying to take it off without removing the covers.
- This one, like described in the product's spec & photos, REQUIRE neutral wire (which is a white wire in the box unconnected). If your house is old and does not have this (only red-black-green/copper), then this product does NOT work.

Amazon Customer: I bought these motion switch and I am very please of it. I'm very happy so far. Easy to install. Easy to caliber. I will update this review if ever there is a malfunction. So, if you don't hear from me. then it's because it still work.

Warren Lo: The product does exactly as I was expecting - turns the lights on when I walk into the room and goes off by itself. The installation was pretty straight forward, requiring basic understanding of wiring light switches. The only difficulty was gauging how long the lights stayed on after no motion being detected - the adjustment dial does not provide any indication of timing, so it was just by trial and error, but I eventually got it to the length of time I wanted by using small adjustments.

The only big hesitation prior to buying was reading some of the negative reviews saying that the switches died after using them for a few months. So at of now, these are new and I have no way of telling if these will last or not. So for now, my rating is provisional and subject to revision if I experience problems after using them for a while.

Installation date: October 16, 2020

Edit - March 17, 2021 - switches are still functioning fine, 17 months later

Edit - September 10, 2023 - still working fine 35 months later

If a problem occurs, I will come back and edit this review,. If there are no edits, then things are still going well.

Ritvik N: I'm rating the motion detection itself as 3/5. As usual, the product information that was advertised is wrong - this does NOT have a full 180° detection area as clearly specified. Also, the sensor only seems to sense movement from about the same level the switch is installed at, so if you have small children or you're crouching down, then the light will turn off without notice. That's VERY frustrating to me, and I cannot emphasize that enough!
Even *more* troubling is the fact that none of the Q/A's and product information seem to mention this at all! Surely someone other than me should have experienced this issues already and voiced them at this point - right?

Let me expand on the problems I had with this switch below. Note that the installation was almost easy as pie with some electrical know-how and I didn't really read the instructions myself, but the wiring effort itself gets a full thumbs-up from me since it's kinda hard to complicate the installation process on a single-pole switch to begin with.

I installed one in a master bathroom where the switch is in such a position that it turns on once you enter it, but it loses line of sight when you're at the sink...
