Nunya Beeznus: What an incredible cookbook it's perfect. Lots of glossy pictures paperback but sturdy. Not only does it have recipes but it gives you ideas on how to spruce up vegetables or berries or rice and how to eat them daily. This not only gives you recipe but it gives you a lot of knowledge about where things come from or ways to substitute items. I have tried to go vegan alot but now I think I actually can without starving. I can do this. Most quality cookbook I have ever owned.

Ash: I like most recipes, but I wish there were nutritional info as well.

Brian Doolan: I'm not a vegan, nor any variation of it. I bought this book looking for ways to increase my veggies into my diet and I'm blown away by how good the meals have been!! They have been filling and I haven't been craving more food after I eat.

WLD: Amazing recipes for our vegetarian family. Both teens love everything and want meals like this for every meal now. I find they take a lot longer than the prep times say but it’s so worth the effort. Just delicious and so full of nutrition and support for an active, healthy, family lifestyle.

Veerle: This book has nothing to do with "whole food plant-based recipes" like it claims on the cover. A lot of the recipes contain sugar and whole-fat coconut milk. They are highly processed foods that leave out a lot of the original plant and are definitely not healthy. Protein powder also isn't a whole food, but I agree that one is less bad. The book claims that each recipe has an oil-free version but even that isn't true; one of the recipes asks for vegan gingersnaps or vanilla cookies and you'd be hard pressed to find an oil-free storebought version of those, and they don't provide a recipe for them.
I'm also suspicious of how successful the oil-free versions of those recipes are. For example, with the mocha cheesecake recipe, the oil-free version calls for pure bananas for the crust instead of chocolate sandwich cookies, and the picture obviously shows the version with the cookies. It definitely doesn't inspire confidence that the 100% banana crust is nearly as good, and the fact that the oily version is the default makes you doubt that the author is particularly good at making tasty oil-free recipes. An actual WFPB cookbook would've likely provided a crust recipe with dates...

Jesse: Great recipes, however only three stars because most of the recipes require prep work or the making of different recipes beforehand, which is not included in the cooking time estimates, which can be frustrating if you have a tight schedule

Meko: I am not a vegetarian, but after coming across Matt's blog I have been experimenting with the recipes he posts. I was happy to see he was putting out a book, and since receiving it I've read it cover to cover! As a mother of two teenage athletes, I worried about making meals with enough calories and protein, and the introductory chapters allayed all my concerns. So far I have made 7 different recipes and all have been delicious and filling. Prep time is accurate, tips and tricks for stretching meals and saving time are helpful, and the variety of recipes is excellent. Very pleased with the book - it's the nudge I needed to move toward more healthy and sustainable eating for my family!

Woody-Fox: I really liked the way this book was put together and immediately found several recipes that I can't wait to try.
I have a lot cookbooks, but since health problems made a plant-based diet advisable, I'm starting to collect books that offer main courses and filling side dishes without meat or too much fat.
It's been a couple years now on the new food strategy, but I'm coming to be quite satisfied and happy with my meatless options. I always loved mexican food and tacos work great. I never used to eat smoothies, but now see these are a marvelous and delicious daily addition.
I'm very pleased with this book, the amount of images, the recipes and quality of the printing.
