sofia: The book reads more like a biography with all his humor. There is only one chapter on recipes. The chapters are organized in a logical manner.

DEJ: For over the past 5 years I have struggled with my commitment to be completely vegetarian, after reading this book recommendation by Queen Afua the struggle was immediately lifted. Dick Gregory did an outstanding job of making plan the things that unconsciously we already know but neglect understanding of. I have not even desired animal protein since reading this amazing resource. I will eventually master the raw alkaline diet. I’m super excited and enlightened by this journey
