Annie's Corner: I was sent a video of the FORK OVER KNIVES philosophy. A lot of it made sense concerning PLANT BASED EATING. Being overweight, I immediately purchased this book. It walks you through everything you need to get started. It take’s getting used to but eating fruits and all kinds of vegetables, with helpful menus…the pounds slowly but steadily diminish. I started eating this way the end of June 2023 and have lost 12 pounds(Aug. 1, 2023. My only goal is to perfect this lifestyle change and not have a goal weight in ming BECAUSE I FAIL EVERY TIME when I do it that way. The weight is coming off slowly and staying off. Just my personal experience and I am no advocate. Just an overweight woman trying her best😌

Kindle Customer: I haven’t had much time to try out any of the recipes but the book itself is just what I was looking for.
Although not brand new it looks almost perfect so it was a bargain.
A great book for those wanting to start out on a plant based way of eating and those who are already following this lifestyle.

Mand: Love the recipe ideas, loads to try yet but the ones I've done are tasty, love cooking and eating WFPB and this gives loads of inspiration. Only 4 stars because I do like photo's, we eat with our eyes first, would probably have tried a lot more by now if I could see what the dish is supposed to look like. Prefer How Not to Die cookbook, use it much more because I can browse through and feel hungry/inspired by the look of the food.

S. Cunio: In my head, body and soul I subscribe to Forks Over Knives as a way to eat what you want, when you want.

No refined sugars, processed oils. No processed foods. Just great recipes made better with local, organic produce.

The book itself, is a good source of information that you can share. I would have preferred some more simpler recipes.

All recipe books should be spiral bound... why aren't they? This one isn't either. Also, more pictures please next to the recipes.

Overall, great. There's a great mobile recipe app too available separately.

The Mad Tatter: Before buying this book I recommend that you watch the documentary Forks over Knives and then you will be ready to put this book to use. This is a well written book to get you started on a new way of life that is going to result in a healthier, happier life. It just makes sense that what we are eating can improve or harm our bodies and with this new way of living you can take control of your life and improve your health just by changing what you eat.
This book gives you a plan to introduce this new way of eating in a well organized manner making it easier for you to succeed.
I would highly recommend this book and challenge everyone to give this a try.
