GKT: Though there are a few type-os, including the wrong date on the first page, these books are hard to put down. I've become a fan of Hildie McQueens book, & the series is a good follow on from the Clan Ross series.

Nancy: Stuart and Cait. Stuart is the 3rd son and brother to the new laird Ross. He feels somewhat adrift and can’t seem to find his way. Cait is a kitchen maid in the clan Ross keep and he is quite smitten with her. Cait is also smitten with him but feels unworthy. This story has everything you would want in a historical romance. A kidnapping, a rotten constable, storms, sickness, romantic complications and of course love. So far this is a great series.

Kindle Customer margo: Stuart and Cait a lovely pair with an interesting storyline and some surprises along the way. There are lot's of secondary characters who would also make future hero and heroine stories.

These books are awesome,
Tense
Angst filled
Adventurous
Thrilling
They tick every box there is.
The writing is just brilliant, Hildie has excelled with this and the prior series of the Ross’s, that this leads from.
She keeps you thoroughly involved in the adventure from beginning to end, I’ve adored every one.

Stuart Ross’s book is excellent reading too.
He’s an archer, a third son, and a favourite with the ladies.
When he leaves his betrothed to set his own lands in order, she feels betrayed, can he get back her affection and trust.

I can’t wait for the next book, These brothers have me totally hooked that’s for sure.
