K.A JunosK.A Junos: I ordered this for my water tank. Plugged it in, and saw the light has 2 tiny streaks of red lights that did not spread into a full UV lights (see pic). So I requested a replacement and had to return the one I ordered. Guess what, the 2nd one had the same issue. I had to return it again and did not want to order more replacement. I am tired of returning and getting a broken light. This product is bad.

Calli Lynn: I couldn't get rid of the green water in my small tropical tank. No matter what I did. Water changes, filters, etc.
I put this behind my filter and ran it for 3 days and boom, crystal clear water!!! Now I'll turn it on overnight if it starts getting cloudy or any algae to stop the problem before it starts. This is SOOO worth the money!!

Brian Mendez: Awesome bulb! Fits in my 10 gallon filter, well insulated and you can't even tell there's a UV light in the filter. Recieved on Nov. 5th, installed it while having very cloudy water and heavy algae, on Nov. 8th water still very cloudy, decided to do an 80% water change + new filter media, it is now Nov 11th and the water is crystal clear!!! (Usually after a water change by the 3rd day it would turn heavily cloudy, even after a large water change + new filter media as my tank houses 8 freshwater fish, 3 cherry shrimp and 2 mystery snails).

All in all, I recommend installing it with at least a 50% water change and you will notice your water staying clear for much longer or not turning cloudy at all.

You might think: "Yea but this guy changed all water + filter of course its clear", but in all honesty for some reason my tank even while having shrimp + snails by the 2nd or 3rd day of new water was ALWAYS cloudy.

As well please keep in mind, in my 10 gallon filter it fitted pretty snug, I had to push/force it a bit to get it deep in the water stream, so I believe that in a filter of less capacity it will not fit and the suction cup did not fit but it wasn't needed...

Amazon CustomerAmazon Customer: Works wonders! Bought this light for my 165 gallon goldfish pond and it cleared the water up in 8 days. I put the uv light under the filter pads in my total pond filter/pump box and turned it on. The water was green and I could barely see the fish and after 4 days I already could see an improvement in the water clarity. I had to clean the filter pads every other day because of all the dead algae in the water but it was was worth it. I left the light on almost 24 hrs a day and now plan on turning it on an hour or two a day to prevent any reoccurrence of algae. Great product so far!
