BobB: What I noticed with these LED lights is they dont last long and plant growth stunts after about a year of use. Since I replace my old LED light with this one, I got immediate new plant growth. The price of this aquarium light is great for the value too. I like the ease of use with the automatic dimming of the auto timer feature too.

A&E Page: I love the 24 hour light function on this tank light. I work third shift but my fish tank does not. I have the timer set to the sunrise to sunset mode and the plants in my tank are thriving! It's nice to not worry about remembering to turn the light on or off, and I don't have an algae issue like I used to when I'd accidentally leave the light at full brightness for 18 hours. I haven't decided yet if I'll adjust the light cycle to match winter sunrise and sunset yet.

No le doy 5 estrellas porque el único "contra" que encuentro es que con el paso de los días y semanas el timer automático se va desfazando.

Jim B.: I purchased the small 12 inch one for my 5.5 gallon and it is so bright I actually fell in love, so even though I didn't really need it I decided to get the big one for my 75 gallon. Well its quite a bit more water so I get it and don't get me wrong it is bright, but I feel like its around half to 3/4 as bright as my little 12 inch light. I really love the timer... I came home from and turned the light on and then set the timer to 6 hours. and to my surprise the next day when I came home the next day maybe a minute or two later than the previous day the light was already on and turned off after 6 hours... LOVE this feature.

Valorie Lyons: I’ve purchased several of these and run them on my nano tanks (5 and 10 gal), and they are great for fish color and plant growth. They are all set on a sunrise-noon-sunset-moonlight cycle, which I love, and which contributes to the natural style that I’m learning about and experimenting with. In my perfect fishroom, I’d have one of these on every tank. The only addition I make to them is to put a black ‘ledge’ on the front, they reflect too much on glass lids.

carol h.: Sleek design, legs were easy to adjust, and so was hooking the light cord to the energy wall plug. Now, when I first clicked the on button, my fish went berserk. The intensity of the brightness shocked my fish so bad that days after, they are still hiding and I'm not sure they are eating. I have 2 Powder Blue dwarf gouramy fish, 4 Glo-Lite rosy tiger barbs, one Emerald cory cat, I thought they were going to jump out of the tank. I did 2 clicks on the brightness to sub do a bit. Another thing I was disappointed about, if you have the light strip on 24/7 mode, you can not dim the light - full intensity. If you have the lighting on the timer mode, there is no 8 hour setting, which is the desired time for most planted tanks - there is 6 hr - 10 hr - 12 hr - NO 8 hr. Etc....So I just have it on manual on / off, now it comes on a little dimmer........................wonder when my fish will show themselves again ? This is on my 20L tank.

Oscar H Suárez: Es una lámpara muy buena pero le faltan opciones de programación. La opción 24/7 es muy buena, muy interesante, pero demasiado larga para las necesidades de las plantas de mi pecera. Quizá si tuviera opciones preprogramadas de menos horas y/o de menor luminosidad estaría excelente.
Las opciones de 6, 10 y 12 horas también siento que están desfasadas, porque 6 horas es relativamente corto, 8 horas no tiene y 10 horas ya es largo y 12 ni se diga. y es que se pasa de la etapa de encendido a la máxima seleccionada en solo 15 minutos, y lo mismo para la etapa de apagado. Quizá debería tener opciones de alargar la fase de encendido y apagado a algo más personalizado.

Creo que la lámpara es muy buena en calidad de acabados y calidad de luz, pero no me sirvió y prefiero seguir usando mis lámparas anteriores (con las que intercalo el tipo y cantidad de luz) que utilizo manualmente.
En un intento por mejorar la calidad de luz de mis plantas casi las acabo matando, ya que nunca pude encontrar la cantidad de luz necesaria para su buen aprovechamiento. Como dije, ya mis plantas se están recuperando después de un mes tortuoso para ellas.

Yael: Es un buen producto de calidad, y para acuarios pequeños en mi caso alumbra a la perfección, todo llego en buen estado y rápido. Además de que tiene varias tonalidades lo que hace resaltar los colores de los peces y acuario y sus funcionalidades son lo mejor, hay un modo 24/7 que te ahorra la fatiga de estarla prendiendo o apagando manualmente. 100% recomendable.

Jason: Lets start this out on a bleak note. The Item showed up, in only the item packaging, and in real rough shape. box was partially open, and shipping had been rough. And, it is a light. I was quite worried.
However, the product was in pristine condition, and suffered no damage.

The Product is, well stunning, for lack of a better word. The aluminum housing, is beautiful, heavy, and feel solid. As well as suffering no damage in the destruction of the packaging.

The lights, are plenty bright for my uses provide many color options. The housing looks great and the lights work well.

Now the negative.
The timer is USELESS, I was excited to have all the lighting options, the timer, and the lighting settings.
and what I got is a single pre-programmed 2-2-3-3-4-10 distribution.

I really wish there were a way to shorten some of the zones, or that it had any sort of battery backup for the timed settings.

Any power outage, renders the entire system completely useless. As the lighting, the timing, and the program is reset.

So in short, the light housing is stunning, the lights more than acceptable, the timer/program is useless.
Acceptable value.
