DR ED: My computer (Dell laptop) recognized this hub instantly and I was ready to plug anything and everything into it. I have been using it to power my camera (for Skype/Zoom meetings) as well as for the additional lighting that I use for those meetings. Simple to use and there does not seem to be any shortage of power coming through the hub. An easy accessory to recommend.

M U.: Works really well. Allows me to use my memory stick, mouse and keyboard all at the same time. Folds away nicely when I'm not using it and can store easily in my bag when I'm taking it to and from the office.

D.C.M.: First of all, thank you to all iMac reviewers. The new iMacs have limited ports and in order to connect virtually anything into those thunderbolt ports, you need this dongle (hate that word!). If you buy the Apple version it has a single port for $19.99. This one has 4 and priced right. I needed this in order to connect my external hard drive for using time machine and for using Migration Assistant to transfer my old computer to my new. I don't usually review an item so quickly but it has done exactly what I needed it to do and am thrilled. YAY!!!

KBay: Apple products are sleek, sexy beasts... but are woefully short ports for all of our modern accessories. Enter this economical little gem. It's light weight (like "I was worried it would work well at first" kind of light) which is a really good thing if you need to travel with it. And it does it's job well. Plugged it in, then phone, webcam, and mouse. All function flawlessly without any additional effort whatsoever. Definitely a good buy.
