Maria: Bought as a gift. Arrived with some water damage on the back. It also tells you on the left column if it is gluten free, nut-free, pescatarian, vegetarian. It also tells how long takes for preparation and and how many pieces it makes.

Dr. Nicholas Pairaudeau: This book lived up to its title, nice colored illustrations, easy to approach, and easy to follow. The suggestions and little notes definitely helped me make this day with a teenage chef ,with some sushi experience before our day in the kitchen, quite successful.
The recipes all turned out pretty well, so I have no hesitation to recommend this book to any age and interest in Sushi at home. Great ! And good value too.

Kindle Customer: Totally new to the world of sushi, bought this book having looked around. It's a nice book, contains 100 recipes, but not enough photos.
As a total sushi novice I need to see what my creations should look like - out of 100 recipes there are only 15 photos showing the finished recipe.
I know it's mainly rice wrapped in seaweed with fish/meat/veggies in the middle, but the Japanese produce such beautiful looking sushi I don't want to make an unappetising looking pile.
Maybe if you've eaten lots of different sushi you know what it's supposed to look like, but I don't!!

L. D. MCSWEENEY: Bought this for my granddaughter and her boyfriend to go with the Sushi molds I’d bought them.
Have them to them at her birthday party along with a Japanese chefs knife also purchased at Amazon. They left the party at about 6 pm stopped at a store for ingredients and went home and made Sushi! They loved it and plan on trying new recipes from the book!
