obtained a pool that the cover was full of water. Used this little guy and it took care of it. Perfect for a 18ft round pool or smaller! Or maybe even bigger! Totally worth it!

This pump does exactly what it was designed for. My typical behavior for pool top draining it use the pump to get the water flowing and then shut off the pump, and it will continue draining. Plus I won't hurt the pump if it finishes before I realize it. So I have not tested the speed. But it does exactly what I need it to do.

I used this pump 3 times and it stopped working. I let it sit for a couple of days, tried it and dead. Got the manual out took it apart exactly like it said to clean it out but there wasn’t anything in it it was clean. I did notice you couldn’t spin the intake fan like it seized up. Put it back together like instructed and it was dead. Next step I coiled the cord up put it back in the box and thank god the garage truck was coming by because that’s exactly where it went. I’ve used Amazon for a lot of thing and only had a couple of bad products, this was by far the worst. If you buy it good luck to you.

This pump does a good job removing water from our above ground pool cover. The only problem with it is that it does not shut off once the water is gone. The description says it should. Not sure if mine is defective in that area, but it pumps a lot of water off in a short amount of time. Worth the money.
