Mary Krismaas: This treadmill was easy to set up, and I was able to assemble it alone. It is sturdy, but still light weight enough to move around without much problem. If you want a basic, inexpensive treadmill, this one is ideal. The belt and incline both works smoothly and as expected - I have only walked on the treadmill, have not run or jogged. I like the quick-set buttons for speed and incline. On my unit, the USB charging port does not work. (My wires are not pinched - the instructions warned about that extensively, but the wires are really well bundled and, in my opinion, unlikely to be easily pinched by anyone assembling this treadmill.) Also, the heart rate monitor does not work - it has never gone over 82, despite my Apple Watch registering a heart rate of 150+. The steps and distance seem to be slightly off, but I think that’s true of any treadmill. Finally, the bottom of the cup holders are not level with the ground, they’re tilted to the same angle as the console, which makes your cup or bottle seem precarious when you’re using it.

R.I.B.: I researched a ton of treadmills before buying this one. We have never had one, so I was not aware of all of the considerations. After all my research, I knew I wanted one with auto incline, and a longer belt, as I have a long stride (5'9" tall). Once I narrowed it down to those two important features, and considering our budget, this particular treadmill seemed to fit the bill.
It came boxed well, assembly was very easy, with everything you need (nuts, bolts, Allen wrench, etc.). The one complaint I have is that one hole was not lined up properly with the inner threads, and this prevented one of the bolts from going in correctly. After a bit of filing with a metal file, we got it worked out, but this is definitely a quality control issue that should have been caught. Otherwise, assembly took about half an hour total between my husband and I. The lubricant that comes with the treadmill is exactly the amount you need for the first time.
