occaisional reviewer: Sometimes too bright for close work.
Large size, so consider that if you must travel with it (and I do travel often).
Size limits convenience of carry/use.
If needed for duty light, get the belt holder.
Get/keep spare battery charged (suggestion) if you have to use light alot.

Anon: Properly bright and seems quite durable, maybe not as stout as some of the surefire lights i have. Having this thing on its charger fixed to the wall is a feature in itself in that it will always there ready for use whereas my non rechargeable flashlights tend to float around a bit.
Beam is quite wide which makes it useful as a utility light when needed but perhaps less purposeful as a searchlight or part of a home defense tool kit, i failed to take note that there is a widebeam and a narrow beam version. I likely would have bought the narrow beam version had i known.
Well packaged and came with two chargers, one for AC power and one for the car. The charger looks and feels a little cheap but it works well. The red led charging light on the charger is quite bright. Enough for the thing to function as a night light if positioned properly.
