Christopher T Wheaton: I was skeptical of getting a decent flashlight for this price. But actually for the money, this thing is great. i like the adjustable beam and it is very bright.

It doesn't have the same feel as surefire or streamlight, but it is a fraction of the cost. Will likely end up with a few more in the future.

Rich: I like the feature where you can use either 3 AAA batteries or on 18650. I use an 18650 to power it, but it's nice to be able to pop in 3 AAAs in a pinch, as they are more readily available. With an 18650, the light is nice and bright. The ability to narrow the beam works well. The light seems very solid and well made.

A. Ellis: For the money this is a great all around flashlight. If you are looking for a flashlight for use at home, in your car, walking, or RV camping, then you can't beat this. There are three brightness settings and an SOS feature. The pattern of the light is adjustable and the flashlight appears water resistant within reasonable limits.

Not all flashlights are equal, so for harsh weather, heavy duty use, and real tactical applications, other products are a better match.

Two thumbs up and hit buy if you need a basic flashlight. Two thumbs down if you are preparing for an alien invasion, or prepping for the end of the world.

SuperTeacher: Let’s face it, just about nobody’s gonna need the SOS function that a lot of other lights have, and if you genuinely need the strobe function it won’t be often at all.
This has 3 brightness levels that can be cycled through with a SLIGHT touch when the light is on. Perfect! After having compared a slide zoom type & this one’s rotate zoom side by side, I went with this one since it stays put way better, and the head isn’t nearly as loose. This also has 2 holes for the sml lanyard such that the lanyard doesn’t prevent the light from standing solidly on a flat surface by being around the bottom edge. The o-rings used on this are also a good thickness, not super skinny like on the lights I’m returning which came w spares! (cause you’re likely to need them!!) Springs at each end of the battery compartment + one on the + end of the 3AAA battery holder round out a solid build. One way this could be better is if there was more of a range between the dimmest and brightest settings, like if they cut the dimmest by 50% and lowered the medium to land in the middle of dim & bright. That would be excellent and give you the option of having a longer run time on the dim...

Home Player: I would no recommend these at all. They are well made and sturdy but they both eat batteries. They are used as a night light only. New batteries might last a few weeks to a month. We have a similar small flashlight and have not replaced batteries for more than a year and it still works great. If you do purchase these buy a 50 pack of AAA's.
