Angie C.: The pump arrived on time and undamaged. Out of the box the pump worked like a champ as soon as I put it in my bird bath and continued to work until today when POOF, it just stopped for some reason. The sun was shining directly on the solar panel so I knew that wasn't the problem. I did another cleaning of the pump per the instructions and comments of other users but I had already cleaned the bath itself and the pump a week after it was in use for maintenance so I hoped cleaning it today would solve the issue.
Unfortunately, it did not.
I contacted Amazon customer service support today via text and they promptly sent me a return label via email and are shipping me a replacement unit delivering tomorrow. The Amazon customer service response was 5 stars! Quick and easy.
To be fair, I really did like this pump while it worked so fingers crossed that it was just a faulty unit.
While it was working, the unit did exactly as advertised. It pumped at full stream during direct sunlight and overcast. Once the sun went down the battery kicked in and still continued to pump intermittently for about 5 seconds on and 5 seconds off until the battery ran out of juice. But as soon as it...

Sue Newhouses: We placed this fountain in the birdbath and found that with the sprinkler attachments we were losing too much water over the side. Now we use it with just the small base and it is fantastic. It sprays a couple of inches into the air and the birds love it.

Very happy with this purchase.

Jack's Mom: This is a marvelous well-made little gadget for adding beauty and soothing water movement and sounds to any water project. It looks exactly as shown in the image. I was pleasantly surprised at the suction power and the height the water can shoot upwards ( almost a foot! ), very easy to assemble with a variety of small fountain attachments so you can choose your look. All in all, great value for the money. I first added it to my bird bath but the regulars preferred a small undisturbed surface, and so I had to remove it and place it in my larger pond project where the larger birds bath and it is great! One day I'll create a place specific for the local hummingbirds and I know they'll love it!

M. Frost: Wow. This souped up solar water fountain is strong.

It has many attachments for different sprays, but almost all of them spray pretty high (12 inches plus when sun is out)

Unlike other models, this one stores extra solar energy in a backup battery for cloudy moments.

It also has an auto shut off so the battery doesn’t burn out when there’s no water in your bowl / pond or when it gets clogged.

The only problem is that this little fountain works SO WELL that bird bath runs out of water in about 10-15 minutes, because the wind carries the spray away, or bc the fountain floats over to the sides of the bowl and the spray falls outside of the bowl.

This would be perfect for a swimming pool or pond, something where you have enough surface area that the spray falls back into the bowl or source for the fountain.

Sadly, I might have to return it since I can’t keep filling the source water fast enough! But it sure does work great!

LoLo: This is only the second solar pump I have had for my birdbath, but compared to the first pump, this one is so very much better. The storage battery gets full during the day, and the pump continues to pump throughout the night into the morning, which surprised and delighted me. There are 3 different spray heads to choose from. The solar panel is nice looking and not too large. I found the small suction cups were strong, but the birdbath is deep, and so the solar panel was covered by too much water, and therefore the sunlight didn't power it. It is fine with me that it floats around. The only con, which is not a big deal, is having to cover the panel with a dark cloth for 15 seconds if the pump goes off. I had to repeat that procedure twice before it came back on, but maybe I was too impatient. Good instructions are included. Would recommend.

TL Holmes: This solar fountain pump works very well in my birdbath and even on overcast days, it operates for most of the day on its battery backup. Today it ran several hours in the rain. Checking and cleaning the pump on occasion is a good idea to ensure it does not clog from any debris that may be in the water...in my case, that is little bird feathers and grass clippings. This is really simple to do and the parts are easy to disassemble and reassemble (fear not, instructions with clear photos are included).

The product is not some cheap piece of plastic -- it seems quite durable and well-designed. The only challenge may be getting the pump re-started if it has gone into shut-down mode (another nice feature to prevent motor burn out if the water source runs dry or the battery has lost all charge on a cloudy day). Be patient because it may take several attempts to manually activate it by covering the solar panel for 15 seconds and then uncovering. At one point I thought my pump had died and, after trying 7 times to manually restart it, I contacted customer service. I received a very quick and gracious response. It was clear that this company will stand behind its product and really...
