It is similar to other heating elements in construction and design however this one in particular has an auto cutoff feature once temperatures reach 130 degrees. This prevents the unit from being over used and helps maintains temps consistently. It definitely provides piece of mind while in use.

I have bought this water heater as the led is coming out from the regular heater in the home. With this heater I am able to get normal water into high temperature and able to have in the shower without having much chemical complications. This heater is also working great with heating the water in fewer minutes for me.

I bought it to use because the seals in my hot tub's heat pump were failing. It does the job but is inefficient without something circulating the water, the first time we used it the top "half" of the water was hot and the bottom "half" was cold. Had to set the thermometer deeper.
I repaired the heat pump so water circulates and this little beauty is a god send. It drastically decreases the time it takes to heat up the tub and heats it to 105 (one degree above the 104 of the other pump). Let me tell you once you go 105 going back to 104 just doesn't cut it.
It is super easy to use, just plug it in, set the temp, and drop it in the water.

Works great.
The only thing I noticed that should be addressed when using this is the placement of the temperature sensor.
Since the only way the water can circulate is by convection, it is important to have the temperature sensor placed in a spot where it will take advantage of this movement.
You do not want the sensor low in the corner of the bucket, as this area is likely to remain cooler while the rest of the volume heats up.
This could potentially allow the fluid to overheat.
I have found good success with getting accurate temperature readings by placing the temp sensor so it is roughly between the center of the water column and the outside of interior wall of the vessel; not directly above the heater itself and well off the bottom.
I will take a photo the next time I use it.
