Debbie: Definitely powerful. I only used it on the lowest setting and could still feel it in the room around the corner! I put it in my living room but it was too much to have it blowing directly at me all night. Cooled the room off in seconds though.

Kyle: I'm used to 12" fans. This one on it's lowest setting moves more air than my old fan on it's highest setting. It's louder as well. Feels well built, nice and solid, not flimsy. On the lowest setting, the motor stays cool, even when it's been running non-stop all day.

Krista Dalton: First speed on this fan is like 3rd speed on my old one! Love it! I was hoping for a fan that could potentially Mary Poppins me to work and I found it lol.
It's also a standard amount of noise for a fan. Doesn't sound like a jet engine like some of those smaller plastic ones.
I definitely recommend this fan!

Tigger and Kit Kat: I have this in a small garage converted to dog kennels. It has a window airconditioner but I wanted something that would circulate the air. This fan is awesome! I set it up off the floor, not far from the airconditioner. It does an excellent job of pulling the air and circulating it to the other end of the kennel. I mainly used it on the low setting. It will blow your hair off...lol. It is loud, but that wasn't a problem. It ran constantly. I checked the heat of the motor every time I went in to clean and feed and let dogs out for a bit. It never over heated. I did have on medium on the very hot humid days but between it and the small airconditioner it stayed a constant 68 degrees. It is easy to move and adjust, it does have a small metal handle to pick it up with. I did put an appliance extension cord on it as the cord didn't quite reach the outlet. It ran fine. Awesome job for continuous running all summer! Highly recommend.

scott smith: all made of metal, i have had so many fans made of plastic. this is all metal, it will be around for years. balanced and very quiet. three settings .. slow, medium, high. with a easy to use switch. i love it ! like old timey products from the olden days . nothing to break. its all metal !! you will see this in the antique store in 2067!! it has a nice sound in your bedroom to help you sleep and keep the air moving. it does not make things vibrate, like i said its balanced very well. i have it on low setting. if you put it on med or high. it will blow your hair back !! BEST FAN EVER !! thanx guys.. you made my fans dreams come true !!

joyce vandyke: I got this today. Not too big and great for a room. The low setting puts out a lot of air. I really like it. The noise level is not loud. Seems well made. I think it is over priced for an 18 inch fan. But it works well and moves the air. I would recommend if you want a decent fan that moves air.
Update: Took this camping and was a lifesaver for the heat. I love this fan. Used this outdoors, worked great.

Lois E. Black: This fan is, as its name suggests, simple. Love that part and it moves a lot of air!.Does what a fan should do without the lights, sensors and the other cr*p like most available today. That being said ,it is a little loud for a bedroom. We use fans for the white noise as well as the air, but this one does not go down low enough for sleeping, in my opinion. If it had one more lower speed, it would be great. Is a very good fan that moves a lot of air and seems well built.Simple and functional.
