Lasko 3300 Wind Machine Air Circulator: Portable, High-Velocity Floor Fan for Maximum Airflow

Karen: We needed a new fan for the den. I read the reviews on how quiet this fan is. This fan had great reviews, so I tried it. The reviews do not lie. This fan has so many pluses. It does move air! It pivots so you can adjust where the air goes. Our dog plops right in front of it to keep cool. I LOVE HOW QUIET IT IS. We have tried other fans, but the noise is unbearable since our tv is in the den. This fan is perfect, and it was reasonable priced. Thank goodness for quiet fans.

Robyn Claridge: I've been using lasko box fans for probably 12 years now. The exact same fan, just in different colors. My most recent was bought about 6 years ago. I ran it 24/7 (literally). It was perfect for me because it let out just the right amount of noise (I can't sleep without white noise).

Well, a couple of weeks ago my fan finally began to cave. I decided to venture out and try something new. After reading the reviews, I opted for this one. It's relatively close to my old fan, just circular instead of a box.

I'm really happy I went with this fan. It's actually a bit louder than my old fan, which I love. It also let's out a lot of cold air! Perfect if you love a freezing room like I do!

My only pitfalls are more about the physical features. The base of this fan is a tad larger than my old one, so it takes up more space on my table. Also, the on/off knob is in the BACK, which means having to reach around to turn it on/off. My old fan had the knob in the front for easy access. Thankfully though, I run my fan 24/7, so there shouldn't be too much need for the knob.

I hope you all don't have to read another fan review from me until at least 2028. Fingers crossed...

Rosalee Dines: I bought the last one in October of 2019. It lasted 4 years almost to the day. I don't think that's too bad, considering from end of May until about middle of October it's running 24/7. Other than those times, I use it every night, (yes, I'm one of those that use a fan year round). It is a little louder than other fans might be, but for the amount of air it moves, what would you expect? All in all, for me, it's one of the best fans on the market for the price. Being made in U.S.A. is a plus also. Well done Lasko!

Bill G: My wife and I have five of these fans now. They are very tough and dependable. No matter which location you put this fan in the house it will provide adequate air circulation and great when we sleep.

The only thing about this shipment, the shipper shipped it via USPS, and needless to say I now have to go to the Post Office to pick it up. Guess it is against the postal workers' union contract to lift anything large. Makes me wonder just how much Amazon wishes to keep its long-time customers. I believe that they are beginning to lose some.

Joe Average: We bought one of these for our bedroom for white noise and a breeze. The first one lives on in the garage. That one is perfect but looks like it has done battle with Gozilla. It runs slower. Quieter. Low speed means low speed. After that we bought fan #2 that failed. I need to look at it. Maybe it is something simple. It failed several years ago, I never got around to looking at it. Recently our most recent bedroom fan failed (different brand). Bought a new one. Having mixed feelings about it. As a fan it is top notch. Really moves the air. As a white noise maker in a bedroom - it runs too fast, and makes a smidge too much air noise.

Still my favorite fan. Just wish "low" was lower.

I have bought yet another Lasko fan this time the 20 inch metal frame also very good value.

Roberto Santos: Todo está muy bien, no pesa mucho, es resistente y genera una muy buena brisa de aire. Pero es un poco ruidoso y me salió con un sonido en su sistema rotatorio, no lo regresé por que al final no es para tanto pero es bueno tenerlo en cuenta.

John: Review after 3 months use.

This fan appears that it will last more than a season's use unlike many other fans. The 3 stars I gave it is for it's functionality, build quality. However, cleaning this fan is another story. This fan must be completely disassembled for cleaning. This means a robertson screwdriver, removing the handle, removing the stand, removing the screws holding the 2 halves of fan blade enclosure together. It is major work. This fan is NOT designed for easy disassembly and repeated disassembly will probably wear out the screw holes rendering the fan useless before its time. In retrospect, you may have more luck if you have access to a good air compressor, take the fan outside and blow the dirt off (in this case disassembly may or may not be required).
