Ken W.: I have an older Lasko that worked for years until I accidentally dropped on the back and bent one of the blades so it didn’t blow air, so I ordered another one. I’ve noticed that a lot of people are saying it’s too loud. I disagree with those reviews. On the number 1 setting it’s no louder than my old one. This fan DEFINITELY is not loud in my book. I use this fan on my dresser at night and I enjoy the white noise. I suffer from combat ptsd and this fan DEFINITELY helps me get to sleep and stay asleep. The quality of this fan is definitely close to being industrial quality. The rubber feet are solid and no vibration. For the money you pay for this fan your getting an awesome fan, it’s also very easy to clean by removing the front cage. As I said before I had another Lasko fan and it lasted for years and it still works but no air because I bent one of the blades and that’s my own fault. If you have want a fan that will last for years to come then this is the fan you want. I’ve also noticed that I don’t have to run my air conditioning nowhere near as much. Randy: I bought this to supplement a similar-sized model that I purchased decades ago. My biggest surprise is how much quieter this one is while seemingly moving the same amount of air. The remote is a little lame but works so far (I strangely had to spin the batteries in it once to get it going). One button turns the fan on/off while the other changes the fan speed. It remembers the speed when it is turned off. There's a big heavy steel bracket for the remote but I'm not using it and have no idea how the remote is supposed to fit that bracket.

WI Northwoods: I would likely be considered someone with above average experience with fans ranging from box fans to oscillating pedestal fans to fans that fold up and pack away into compact travel cases (J can't sleep without a fan that combines good air movement with a calming, white noise background that helps quiet those racing thoughts), and this fan rates 5 stars in every category. It arrived well-packaged, and assembly took less than 5 minutes. When it comes to moving air I've not seen it's equal, and it does so with relatively little noise, and what sound there is consists of more air whoosh than the smooth, electric motor expels. The included wall mount is a terrific bonus that adds 3 dimensional, downward Z-axis direction control. Mine arrived just a few days ago, and this review is being written as a result of coming back to purchase another for the garage at my "up north getaway." If you're looking for the fan of fans, this is it.

Customer: I'm looking at the features rating, and it says "noise level" I give it a 4, I can't hear anything when it's running. When it gets to 'whirring', it's real irritating! So I gave it a big ol' 4. I haven't tried that other reviewers trick to get rid of the whirring noise. (like a high pitched HuMMMMM. )
The handle is in an awkward place and it's not balanced for that carry spot. so a 1 for Maneuverability.
I gave it a 1 for Remote control too. As I did not receive a remote control with this purchase.
I give it a 5 for wind power, it's the strongest fan I've ever owned. Does seem to have reduced in wind since I started it running though. Beats my old plastic wind machine by a factor of at least 5. (thats a guess, I have nothing to measure it with. )

Frederick: I was trying to shop for a fan to replace my ac (that I'm only using as a fan). My ac (fan...) is really loud and it helps me sleep. Trying to shop for a loud fan isn't easy since everything is advertised as ''quiet''.
Read the comments on this one, many ppl mentioned how loud it was, so i got one :) Pretty happy with it so far, it's super strong, idk if I'll ever need the third setting. Kinda wish it included the hardware but its no big deal. The remote is really big for no reason tho, probably to prevent loosing it (also didn't include batteries). Great for my small bedroom that quickly becomes a heat dome!

Rafael: Éste ventilador es muy útil y sobretodo con su control remoto. Avienta bastante aire y no es muy ruidoso para la potencia que tiene. Si pudiera girarse lateralmente sería un plus porque este sólo se mueve hacia arriba y hacia abajo. Lo recomiendo ampliamente.
