Fred Golden: I bought this fan and one a slightly lower cost, and lighter weight. This fan is much more powerful. I use it to blow air outside, by pointing it at my screen in the living room. The second fan, same 20" diameter, but lighter and thus less power, I use to point air inside.

The flat 20" "Box" fan can put out about 25% of the air if this one. So I don't use those anymore. I was looking for a powerful fan. The box fan was under 100 watts and listed as "Energy Efficient" and they are, barely move any air, and then don't use much power. This one is much more power, and also a bit more noise, but you can still talk around it on high speed. Not something I would put in my bedroom at night to sleep near it.

Glenn Rickert: I Iove this fan. This is the 2nd one I've owned in 15 years. It lasts a long time. The first one lasted 12 years. This one I've had 3 years. Daily use and rarely ever shut off because I live in Southern California and it's hot all year round, and I'm disabled, so I'm home all day. With so many years having this fan, it's well tested with a very honest review. The power, even on low is really strong, like the big metal fans of the same size that cost 3 times as much, but is much more quiet. High level is like hurricane winds, and I never need it that high, but its capable of it. Way more powerful on low than other plastic fans of same size on high! Adjustable on the vertical axis but not horizontal. Perfect for placement on a coffee table, end table or small dresser, and near beds. Great air movement and circulation. Very solid construction. If you put some duct tape on the small back air holes, you can clean it easily by putting it in the shower and spraying water on it, since the cage doesnt come off. I've never had a problem doing this as it doesn't damage it. I have to clean it often due to allergies. If my last one survived 12 years of monthly cleaning like this, and this one...

Bruno MonroyBruno Monroy: Excelente ventilador, lanza una buena cantidad de aire con un ruido muy aceptable (aunque a máxima velocidad el ruido ya es considerable, no es nada que no se pueda soportar). En general estoy muy satisfecho, considero que el ventilador tiene una excelente relación calidad/costo. Prácticamente lo sacas de la caja y ya está listo para usar. No le pongo 5 estrellas porque se ve que el ventilador ya había sido sacado de la caja y tenía un pequeño golpe cerca de la perilla donde se activa.

Anna: I really like this fan. I bought this Lasko Cyclone to supplement my 2 Lasko Wind Machines because 1 of them is several years old and loosing power from continuous use. (but I still love the Wind Machines!!) This fan was just slightly cheaper than my old ones, but still Lasko so I thought I's give it a try. I am not disappointed. Great air movement! It has much in common with the Wind Machine: size, easy of use, and air power. I use 1 fan year round for air circulation & white noise when sleeping, (also to drown out my son & his GF when they fight!). I like a fan that makes some noise, but soft, steady, white noise, nothing annoying. This fan is perfect, it's even a bit softer than my Wind Machines, but still has the serious air out-put that I need. My room faces the morning sun, so it heats up in the summer. I use 3 to 4 fans pointed at each other, they create a mini wind storm over my bed & keep me cool with out having a high A/C bill. The base of this fan is a bit steadier than my Wind Machines, doesn't fall as easy if bumped; but still light weight & easy to move. I haven't had to clean it yet, & ease of cleaning will be a pro/con issue with me, so I will...

Willy: Some people say it is made with really cheap material but I think it is not the cheapest and is the one the product needs in order to be light and easy to move from one place to another. If we talk about power....there is no way somebody could says I'm not satisfied....it its the most powerful fan I've ever had.
